Best Advice To Gain Affiliates For Launch

Recently, I'm in the process of my pre launch of my upcoming WSO and I wanted to share some knowledge and ongoing experience with people that are looking to gain more affiliates for their WSO product.

What I did was I created a pre-launch page both inside and outside of the WSO because their are a lot of my community members that know nothing about the WSO and I didn't want to miss them and their are a lot of people that are looking to gain more knowledge about your WSO before they purchase ESPECIALLY potential joint venture partners.

So, what we created was a pre-launch page like this [FREE PDF] Prelaunch Affiliate Manifesto - Get 25% Of It For Free. (Until June 12th, 2012) that shows the information and branding of the page itself along with various information that they can download a portion of the product before they even purchase it.

This is good to gain affiliates because you're building raving fans for your product before it even goes live and also this would be better for your EPC as well.

The more pre educating that you do for your affiliates the better it's easier for them to say yes then no and also for them to really get a better idea as to what your product really is about. It saves you time on sending review copies to people as well so now you have time to focus on your marketing strategies.

If you're trying to get affiliates when you have already started pre-launch isn't it too late?

The guys who'll do the most sales for you are already pre-booked for promo's a month in advanced and unless you get BIG EPC's on launch day it's unlikely they'll drop a promo for you no matter how much educating you do...

...Not trying to be harsh on your strategy, but you gotta have affiliates ready and lined up to promote before you start your pre-launch.

A pre-launch should just be to get a quick list of interested buyers ready so when you go live your EPC's are skype high attracting a few more big hitters.

Oh you're not raining on my parade man. Having affiliates before your pre launch before is always important but a lot of people can't get affiliates now a days because they don't understand good strategy and building rapport with people at all.

So, you're right but if you want to gain more affiliates that are quality that won't kill your conversion rates they're probably want to see something before you launch as well and not just your product but how the funnel performs.

I agree with the above post. You should have your Affiliates ready right from the development stages. The planning has to finish be the time the final product is ready. You should only concentrate on perfect execution after that.

  • It is best to start talking about your product well in advance of the launch. Drive potential buyers and affiliates to a list. Try and segment that list into buyers and affiliates. You can further try and get some from both groups to beta test before the launch. These people will become your initial testimonials once you have worked the kinks out. Before you do your prelaunch cultivate your affiliates and let them know you will give bonuses for high performers during the launch. This will get serious affiliates interest. When you roll into the prelaunch all of your initial affiliates should be in place.

I agree with what is said above. I have not only managed product launches, but I have managed merchants who do millions a year in online sales, and the same strategy goes with those. You want to get the proper information out to affiliates as soon as you have the details gathered yourself. This gives them plenty of time to prep themselves, and gives everyone time to plan and hash out minor details that could potentially make or break a launch/promotion - just my 2c.

    Great idea buddy!

You want to give affiliates PLENTY of time to fit your launch into their schedule.
