Creating a fitness program to sell online-need some advise

Hey everyone. This is my first time on the Warriors Forum and I'm looking forward to sharing ideas with everyone here.

I need some advise. I'm creating a fitness program to sell online and I could really use some helpful tips on how to get started.

Aside from affiliate marketing, I've never created a product myself and sold it before. I already have the fitness program designed. I have a few people trying out the program and I'm documenting their results on video as proof that it works.

I haven't thought of a name yet. But the program is geared toward training in your home without the need for weight equipment.

My concerns are mainly about whether or not should I hire a copy writer? How do I get people to sell it on Click Bank? Is there a software out there that will help me create a digital product?

If anyone has any great marketing advise or answers to some of these questions I could sure use the help. Or if someone out there who has a lot of experience and wants to do a joint venture in this, I believe I have a very great and unique product.

    Hey skocab,

As far as hiring a copywriter is concerned its a decision that only you can make. You will be spending some money upfront on a good copywriter, but then if you can get hold of one with a proven track record and available within your budget the investment will pay itself off and give you some more. However if you do not want to go that way, you can always do that yourself and keep tweaking till you reach the point where you are happy with the conversions.

Clickbank is basically a market place where digital products are sold. The beauty of clickbank is that they have a huge affiliate base. Once you have your product ready and the sales page up, you can list your product on Clickbank for a certain fee. People will be able to buy it from clickbank once it is available in the market place. Affiliates looking to promote products in your niche will find you in the market place and start promoting it for you. A good copy plays a vital role in keeping your affiliates satisfied.

I don't understand your question regarding a software that will help you create a digital product. May be you could explain it to me. By the way, anything you prepare like an ebook, an online membership site, audio, video etc all belong to the digital product category. you can create them using different software and equipments. They are way too much to get into in this post without being sure of the question you asked.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers

If you are creating your own fitness program, do you have any local business or local address or do people will learn online..

If they learn online than you need to create the following things..

    1) Sales page with good copy-writing, showing the benefits, features, video, testimonials and some good offer.

    2) Membership based website so people will pay first to join your membership where they can watch the videos and learn about your product.

    3) Add your website with Clickbank so you don't need to take the headache of getting affiliate and paying affiliates, all Clickbank will do for you.

    4) Your product should be valuable and high quality, basically create the product to help people not just taking their money and go..

This above fours steps are more important but there are more deep things inside these four steps and which will be very difficult to mention over here..

First make a proper plan and than look for building a website.. I hope this helps..

    Hi Skocab,

Just like how I've been advising our fellow Warriors, seeking advice on their product creation ideas, you may try to touch-base with our product creation gurus from the Warriors For Hire section. They can (of course) tell you the 4 Ws and 1 H (What, When, Where, Why, and How). In most cases, they will take care of everything from the creation of product itself, to writing of ebooks or reports, writing the sales copy to designing your squeeze page.

I'm telling this because lots of well-known product creation gurus outsource their ebooks/reports writing to my writing services. That's the reason why I've had that figure on my signature.

      Hi mindreadwriter,

You've made a logical proposal concerning the WFH section. I would only to put a minor addition, if you don't mind.

When I learned the grammar decades ago, I was taught that you can't have a complete sentence in English without a subject (Who or What). Indeed, you need someone or something to perform the action of the sentence - that is the subject. People use noun, noun phrase, or noun clause subjects in sentences, as necessary.

I will not go into details, but thought it is necessary to tell. Therefore, your 4 Ws are 5 Ws in reality.

      Peace,

      Sandor

Hey Brian. The program is based around a home fitness program that people try to lose fat and get in shape can do without having to go to a gym or the use of any kind of weight equipment. The exercises are a mix of anaerobic and aerobic conditioning. The core workouts and based on Interval training workouts(circuit training). Which can be done in a short period of time. Around 25 to 40 minutes. The nutrition program I'm trying to keep very simple and basic. Teaching people to just follow some simple guidelines in order to lose fat, instead of getting all caught up in all the trendy diet programs out there. I'm following a basic principle that dieting shouldn't be that complicated of a thing to follow.

Right now my Idea of marketing it right now is not so much as bragging about myself and what I've accomplished, but letting the program speak for itself. Right now I have two people(there will be a third soon) going through the program and I'm video documenting their results over the next few months to see what kind of results they achieve. I

You can see their before videos at my youtube channel at optfitness.
They are called 'kristi before video' and 'Antonio's before video'.

I will soon be releasing a demo video of one of the workouts.

      Thanks for your interest.

    Hey Skocab,

A quality copywriter in my experience is the best investment you'll make.

The next thing you need to do is figure out who is going to promote the product for you, and then go about making that happen.

In terms of making the product - you need to have an idea of what you are trying to deliver.

Do you want to deliver a video course?

    An audio course?

    An e-book?

All have different things necessary to make it all work.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks for the advise. I'm planning on mainly making it a video course and the diet portion most likely an e-book. What do you recommend for creating a video course? I'm pretty good already at making and editing video, but I wouldn't know the first thing on how to make it into something I can sell. Would it be best to make a password protected website and give people access to everything there? Or should I just send them a file where they can download all the workouts in order? I'm a little naive when it comes to this.
