Here is how I found THIS great niche today. Crash course on Keyword Research for Newbies

I am bored, so I am going to show you how I just found a great niche with great potential. The simplicity may surprise you. But if you are a newbie, prepare to have your IM world rocked.

About 10 minutes ago I visited my favorite place on the internet to do keyword research. That place you may be asking? ezinearticles.com Here is how you use EZA as a keyword research tool.

Most article marketers use EZA to get the articles out. Really good internet marketers know that a properly SEOd article will have the keywords as the anchor text. Anchor text is the "Click here" type text you see in the resource box. Visit my " Treat Acne" site for free info. Treat Acne will be clickable and is the anchor text.

*I only research keywords found in articles where there is proper anchor text.* These authors know what they are doing!

What I did was scrolled through the front page of EZA looking for articles with keywords in them. Most of them were the same ole stuff today...bummer! But I did find one article that caught my attention. It had the word "Ayurvedic" in it.

I then opened google in a different tab and went to the google keyword research tool. I typed in ayurvedic, and what do you know. It is a complete niche with scores of little subniches.

At this point I had a niche with searches, keywords, and the number of searches per keyword. I now needed to know the competition. I took a few of the keywords from the tool, opened google in another tab and searched that phrase to get an idea of the competition.

Here - I did some work to get you started. These are 5 keywords in a subniche of Ayurvedic:

There you have it. 6 keyword phrases ready to be attacked. I could have dugg deeper. But the point I wanted to make was - This took me 10 minutes.
Now all I have to do is register a domain and redirect it to the product I want to promote.

Here is the process you should follow:
Open three browser windows. One on EZA. One on Googles keyword tool. One on google's search page.

Scroll through the main page of EZA. Look for interesting titles.

Click the articles to see what the anchor text is

Plug that anchor text into the keyword tool

Use google to see the competition.

It really is THAT SIMPLE!!!
