BIDDING WAR-If myDomains are expired/in Redemption period-how to RePurchase them before competitors?

Edit- they are in redemption period, I cannot get them back, or cannot renew them, with Namecheap.

Some domains of mine have expired, and will be reavailable to be 'back'catched, using services such as pool, namejet etc.

Does that mea that as they are MY domains, to be released....that only I will know that they are re-available, before anybody else? (As they are mine, i have them on a list)

or that means....that Anybody/the whole public can back catch them,.... and it will be a bidding war (if anybody else wants the domains)

and as I KNOW the domains are available, to be back catched,.....does that mean ONLY I KNow? as they are mine? Or the public will know too, and if so, When will they know that they are available?

(as in, I have the insider knowledge, as they are mine...but when wil the public actually know? -and other domain purchasers?)

Cheers.

If you don't renew, once it's expired they go on auction to the public. Even during the auction process, you still have periods of time to renew.

So I guess to answer your question, no you don't have "insider knowledge" because you owned them previously. Once they are expired they are up for grabs.

      cheers

anything I can do, to 'beat' the others from grabbing it?
      (besides have a high budget)

How do i find the exact dates, that the domains will be available to the public?

and when they are up for public sale, Can i get in there/bid for them 5-10 days before?
by back ordering them? (as i know that they will be available)

AFAIK once it expires, it goes to auction for 7 days in which anyone can see the domain and bid on it. During this time, you can still renew. Then after someone successfully wins the auction, there is another waiting period of usually 7 days. During this time, you can STILL renew. And if no one bids on it during the auction period, it simply drops in Godaddy's pool of domains in which anyone can register it for the standard fees. This goes for Godaddy, other registrars may be different. But you should call them to double-check.

Why don't you just renew the domain? I'm confused as to why this process is of interest. If you want the domain, just renew it. If you let it expire, chances are very good you will lose it.

Try to register the domain through a domain back-ordering service, such as Pool (Registering starts at $60 with Pool) Welcome to Pool.com

If i do that method, can other people also do it ? who are also interested in getting them? so it will be like a bidding competition?

or there is a way that I can MAKE SURE that I get them myself......and nobody else, using pool.com

Count 35-36 days from the domain's last updated date. That's when the domain
        will become available again.

Unfortunately you can't stop others from beating you to it, if ever. You hope for
        the best.

    Hi

When you say they are in redemption and you can't get them back, is that what Namecheap support told you?

You should be able to renew during the redemption period as long as it hasn't reached pending delete.

Did they suggest your best option?
