I'm new here and I was wondering how you guys run multiple websites/domains ?

You do it through 1 cpanel/admin mode or how do you manage it?

Where? How much does it cost for lets say 5 domains with one hosting, or isn't this possible....

can you specialists help me?

Depending on how big your site is or going to be is going to determine what to do.

If your making a few bucks then pick up some shared server space for $5 a month if that at host gator etc.

Otherwise pick up a dedicated server and you can run them all out of cpanel and WHM

If you're using Hostgator you can have unlimited domains. Currently I have around 15 active websites through them.

Most of my sites are Wordpress, so I don't mess around with Cpanel much, with the exception of the initial uploading of files.

At any rate, of the sites I run that are HTML, I still don't use Cpanel that much. I'll build and tweak the site in Kompozer (html editor), then upload it to my server via Filezilla. I don't really play around with Cpanel much. There's no real reason to.

  • Just a short note to say that there are probably loads of ways to do this. I use hostgator which has the ability to host multiple sites (baby plan) (though I am sure that they are not the only ones). They also have 24 hour support which is a mile better than the host provider that I had before them.

  • Hostgator baby plan is probably good for you. Unlimited domains can be hosted in the one hosting account.

Get a shared hosting plan with add-on domains (multiple domain hosting all from your one cPanel) e.g. Webhostinghub, Hostgator, Bluehost, etc... or get a reseller hosting plan which allows you to create a separate cPanel accounts for each or your websites.
