Kindle question: if you sell your ebook on Amazon can you sell it on your own website, too?

Hello! I've got a question for Kindle publishers. If you have an ebook that you want to sell through Amazon in their publishing program, can you sell the same ebook on your own website, too?
As I understand the Kindle Select program requires exclusivity, but if you don't choose the Select program, just the regular one, is it all right to sell your book on other channels, as well?

And what about pricing? Does the Amazon price has to be the lowest? I thought I would offer my ebook on my own website with an added bonus to justify a higher price there.

And my final question is: how soon do you get paid for your Amazon Kindle sales? Let's say you meet the threshold for the revenue, how long does it take from the end of the given 'sales period' till Amazon sends the money for that period. I read somewhere that it's 1 month after the sales period, but on other sites they said it's 60 days. Which is true?

Thank you for your answers.

This is what I call the Association
    principle.

When two things happen at the
same time, they seem to be treated
    as one single event.

Use that to your advantage, and
    borrow Amazon's huge credibility.
If you have reviews, splash them
out there. There's nothing a good
sales letter cannot fix... Unless the
offer doesn't have a demand in the
    first place.

You could use a lower price -
    there'll be no doubt that it's a
bargain, as visitors can confirm it
    for themselves.

As long as you don't enroll the eBook in Kindle Select, you can sell it on your website and any other channels that you want.
Concerning the pricing, I know that if your Amazon price is higher than your price elseewhere, Amazon will do a price match.
You are paid 60 days after the end of the month in which the books are sold.

Provided you don't join Kindle Select programme then you are free to sell your ebook anywhere else. Amazon takes 60 days to pay out...........

      Yeah, don't join select.

I've just had to rewrite an entire book so I can offer it as a freebie on my site. Not worth the effort if you ask me.
