Dentist Website Traffic & Conversion Rates?

Hi Everyone,

So I'm getting deep into the dental field and I'm wondering what kind of traffic some of you guys are getting with dentist websites in different populations (50K, 75K, 100k, etc.).

And from my research I have found that the industry average is a 2% conversion rate for these websites. In other words, for every 100 unique visitors to the site, 2 become patients. This seems awfully low and I'm not convinced that this is indeed the conversion rate. What have you guys seen?

    2% Becoming Patients Seems REALLY High

    I'm not in the dental niche, but I'd be shocked if 2% of visitors became patients. My guess is that it is much lower than that.
