I would say the only way to reach high numbers on Fiverr is to upsell your clients on other jobs outside of fiverr where you can make more than 4$ per order.

Fiverr would act a a lead generation tool for your extra-fiverr business. You understand?

It's possible, but your picking a pretty hard route to make that $1,000. Good way to start I guess then slowly progress by offering you service to people on this forum and other forums.

It's not all that hard to do it for as long as you upsell your clients and provide high quality content.

Not that I'm knocking Fiverr because I've used it and it does have its uses, but why are you selling yourself short in a crowded marketplace?

I do flyers for people and get paid $25-$50 a pop for them. This isn't even a business, I just do it for friends. For you to make $1000 doing it, you have to sell 250 jobs. For me, I have to sell 20. Which one seems more likely to happen?

Your dreams and desires are only as big as your mind can handle. Expand your mind. Don't get rid of your Fiverr account yet, though. Do like the other user suggested and use it for an upselling machine. In the meantime, work on putting an ad in the WFH section here and see what you can do with it.

My point of view, when you start making $4 dollar online, then this is your starting point see that possibilities to make money online.

This fiverr just like you are just opening your 'new shop'. You offering best promotion (best service) at a lowest price. When this happy customers satisfy with your service, they will return back to you for sure.

Fiverr is the platform I started making decent money with. I signed up a few months back and make around $200-$300 a month now which is ok I guess as I'm not focusing on it at all right now. It's possible! Some people make a living off of Fiverr.

For graphic design that's a lot of work for the money but if you
can upsell this may work out for you. My pet peeve with
Fiverr is the lack of automatic delivery of the product.
Just to have to log in to send a message of where to
download a product is tedious at best. They need to set
up some automatic delivery for those who sell digital
products.

That's really hard. You have to get at least 8-10 jobs/day.
Unless you are selling digital stuff... rather than a design service...
I'd say you are just a crazy fiverrer...

Possible? Maybe. Recommended? Certainly not. Unless your graphics are only worth five bucks, wise up and charge what you are worth. Get to 1k that much faster.

There are a few people making very good money on Fiverr, but you have to be selling things that are either instant or take 1-2 minutes to produce. The other good way to use Fiverr is as a lead-in for upselling as others have mentioned or simply as a way to build up your resume of work and get testimonials if you are just getting started.

You can include a few upgrades on Fiverr like an extra $5 for the psd file or an extra $10 and have it delivered in 24 hours, etc. It might help you reach that goal a little quicker.

I know if I like someones work I'll pay the extra just to give them a bit of a bonus.

I have seen there are some member who are really making it big. Though i have been trying really hard for few months but i hardly make $20-30/PM. I guess you have to come up with something really interesting to reach that figure.

What I would do is use arbitrage it, and use craigslist or some other great source of marketing to get higher paying gigs, and then scale it by outsourcing..

But of course you can do it yourself.. Don't cut yourself short, if you are good then charge higher. 1k a month on fiver may be tough if you are doing all the work yourself for little upfront costs. Just as everyone else here is saying, upsell, have a package or something.

I think you definitely could make $1000 a month on Fiverr offering your design service... but you could reach the $1000 FASTER if you sell it outside Fiverr.

You could sell your service through Warrior for Hire. I think in this sub-forum there's a lot of Warriors who need your service and willing to pay for more than $5.

Just use Fivver to get the initial clients, testimonials, and build your portfolio.

It doesn't matter, because if it is possible on Fiverr, that means the service is in such demand that you can probably make far more than that offering it elsewhere.

It seems to me that "think bigger" might be beneficial, here.

fiverr is not the only place you can earn but it is good to see that you are earning . i have not so happy news for you though . You are SERIOUSLY selling yourself short. If all you get for hours of work is a lousy $4 , how long will it take for you to be millionaire .

Stop selling yourself cheap .create a product or service that people would be happy to pay that kind of money for . If you feel that you can't create a product or service worth then there might be self-image issues here

I found 663 ebook cover gigs on Fiverr.

Out of those, ONE seller is doing well. She is Featured, and she has about 800 feedbacks. She's been on Fiverr for 5 months, so that's 160 feedbacks per month. 160 times $4 is $640.

I doubt every buyer leaves feedback, so there's probably some wiggle room, but for sure she gets $640 a month on average. She has a $5 upsell but there's no way to tell how many buy it.

Can you do better than a seller who appears on Fiverr's front page? Or will you be one of the 662 people who sell fewer gigs?

$1,000 a month on Fiverr is hard work, thats 6-7 gig a day, in design work, that could be hard, and really deserves a better reward than 1k.

If you could automate it then yeah it is more than achievable but I would just use it to get some good feedback and maybe a few bigger clients with add on along the way before branching out onto better paid sites like elance and Guru.com

The only thing that you should sell on fiverr is stuff that is automatically generated by you and not worth more than $5.

You are getting some good advice here (plus some _ _ _ ). The summary for you is that you will simply have to "jump in" and see if you can swim, - profiting! Just be ready to make adjustments as results indicate.

My best month from Fiverr was 400$, meaning 100 orders. I know that Fiverr could work as a great lead generation tool. But it is against Fiverr's terms of service to contact your buyers through e-mail, Skype or phone.

I know that this 400$ could easily become 1000-5000$ with the upsells i would make outside Fiverr but i don't want to jeopardize this monthly income and get my account restricted.

Have you checked out Peopleperhour.com?
They have introduced a new section called "Hourlies" which are the same concept as Fiverr's gigs, but you can charge more for them and people expect to pay more.

The Hourlies section is also relatively new compared to fiverr. So should be easier to gain traction if you offer a good service.

Well it's doable, you just needs services that are scalable. For instance, if you're making flyers come up with 5 really good flyer templates and then use them to crank out flyers for everyone.

Say you get 3 orders a week, which is low if you have good feedback, and it took you 1 hour to come up with each template, that's $15/week for 5 hours of work. Then you do ebook cover templates, and that's another $15/week. Then throw in the thing where it's 3 days delivery, and you can upgrade to 24 hour delivery for an extra $10

At the moment I make around $2k a month on Fiverr. This is mainly because my queue is so long people order the gig extras to bump up the delivery time. In fact, I have three orders with gig extras to every one standard order! Try that out

I'm like alot of the other people, why are you selling yourself short? I mean I have a gig on fivver and make some money off of it but I sell the same service on craigslist and make 10 times. That will be too much work in my opinion for just 5 dollars.

You can get paid a lot more for graphic design work. Fiverr pays you 4$ for each gig and Paypal takes a fee so you only really get around 3.80$ (or something like that) for each gig. I would suggest creating a website for your services and market it as best as you can.

My best month at Fiverr was around $5400 and right now i am earning little less than $3k from Fiverr per month.....because i am not totally stick with Fiverr now........Some other startup require time more than Fiverr. However I am providing services at Fiverr almost one and half year and having credeibilty among my buyers. My advice is if you want to make $1000 from Fiverr

* Always come out with Different Service and With Unique Idea How you will do it
* As you are new, you need to provide some free services in start. Like offer some free gig if some one order 2 or 3 of your gigs.
* Fast Delivery of your Order is key of Success at Fiverr. As fast you will deliver, fiverr will give you much ranking on your service area........Remember like Google, top 10 to 15 Gigs in particular Search Area almost gets all orders.
* Finally if you are selling services like twitter followers, Your gig must be in top 10 for twitter follower search.

Hopefully it will help you to put some more effort on your profile and ultimately you will get 1000$ at least from fiverr. I wish for you more anyway

I would suggest building a list with Fiverr. Send them to a landing page if they are interested in recieving updates from you.

Also if you have a higher level in Fiverr you can offer upsells. Keep on working away and you will reach your goals.

Also look at additional gigging sites and offer your services there for maximum potential.
