How Many Testimonials Do You Have?

Hello Warriors,

I have a question I wasn't quite sure about.

I have over 100 positive testimonials for one of my products. Soon this product will be launching in open market, I was wondering how many testimonials should I use for the sales letter, I have so many that I know I should not over do it.

Pick the top 10 perhaps?

    SI Narthil. Pick the top 10 and put them on the salesletter...


    Then, put a link on the bottom or top and have all the testimonials on that separate page.

    Hey Daniel -

    In my experience, you can have too many testimonials on your sales letter page.

    Why? Because they are interruptions that break the flow of your sales letter and you lose 'control' over the reader…

    Some ‘guru’ friends of mine have literally hundreds of customer testimonials, and they do NOT put them on the sales page. They are available through a link to 'testimonials'. They only put Top Guns on their sales page.

    That said, some good testimonials can be good if you use them properly and in the right place in your sales letter.

    As a point of example, the testimonials on one of my sites are all from Top Gun marketers, so I use them in different places for obvious reasons. You can see them at www.firstcontactsecrets.com if you wish.

    Otherwise, if your testimonials are all from customers, and not from ‘gurus,’ perhaps test putting them together in one section near the bottom of your sales letter with a subhead and the rest of the really good and specific ones on their own page.

    Hey Daniel...

    To tell you the truth...

    We have testimonials for our new product
    but we haven't put them on the site yet and
    it's still converting like crazy!

    What we found is that a good video explaining
    everything in detail sometimes works better than
    any social proof out there..
