I'm guessing only. I do buy and sell domain-names (nothing very "premium") regularly, and I probably have about 1% of the experience of someone like Gene Pimentel.

Here's the thing: domain-names don't intrinsically have any value above and beyond their reg-fees. Their extra value, if any, depends almost entirely on the skills of their vendors at identifying and approaching people to whom they're worth more (for whatever reasons). So, one's guesses at what a domain-name is "worth" are kind of proportional to one's impressions of how easy it's going to be to do that.

My guesses here are that BetOnRed.com might turn out to sell for a lot of money. Don't let that one lapse!

And that the others that might be "worth something" (though not in anywhere near the same league as that one) are moretexts.com, heartcompanions.com, luckybingo.co (maybe - I've never tried to sell a .co), and safesexguides.com .

I may be totally wrong, but the rest I wouldn't, myself, register for their reg-fees.

Cool. Thanks Alexa. I'm actually developing BetOnRed.com so I appreciate the feedback. : )

BetOnRed is a very nice domain probably in the $xxx-$xxxx range. Try asking for appraisals at one of the various domain forums (DNforum, NamePros). I personally do not see much value in the rest.

I think betonred.com would be great for someone to build an authority site.

I don't think the others are any good, but maybe to someone.

As a long time gambling affiliate, I love BetOnRed.com. It's not keyword rich but it's brandable and memorable.

Like the other guy said, the domain probably doesn't have any intrinsic value. However, it's entirely possible that someone out there has his heart set on the exact domain and you happen to own it.

SafeSexGuide is authority material. Slap on a few "Adult Friend Finder" affiliate links, give away free condoms while you're at it, and you're good to go.

    But in all seriousness

None of us can really give you much advice on their "sell-ability". I've never sold a domain before.

And it seems to me that the only person who has any experience doing so (on this thread) is Alexa.

And even she has emphasized that here statements are only her opinion.

In conclusion: They could all sell for a lot. Or they could all flunk out.

If you're able to segment and target potential buyers accurately, then you could very easily sell em' all for a fairly decent bit.

I reckon you should let them put offers on the table though.

PS: ReadingApllication.com - Application's spelled wrongly. This would definitey devalue it.

I agree with casablancas. Those domains are pretty good in my opinion. You should try our namepros to find them out and also know what sells and what not.

    Jonathan,

I've read some of your posts that really resonated with me so I think you're probably a pretty good guy.

However I need to tell you that these domains really aren't up to snuff and you won't ever get anywhere with them.

Since I like some of your past writings I'll tell you what I'm willing to do to help you out. You send me $10 for each of the following domain names, transfer ownership to me, and I'll take them off your hands so you don't need to worry about them anymore:

    MoreTexts.com
    HeartCompanions.com
    BetOnRed.com
    ChargeLaptop.com
    SafeSexGuides.com
    NewbieLearning.com

Just PM me and I'll send you my Paypal address so you can send the money and transfer the domains.

It's the least I can do to help. You can thank me later.

    Mark

      Hi Mark,

I appreciate the offer however BetonRed.com and HeartCompanions.com are not for sale.

Invest $1000 ($70 each) and I'll _consider_ letting you have the rest.

          I don't see why it's funny/humorous. (?) If I wasn't such a good guy I'd think you're trying to cover your tracks.
I guess humour doesn’t always translate online.

He was simply telling you, in an amusing way, which ones he thought were potentially worth something.

I think you may actually have mis-read his post, Jonathan: he didn't offer you anything for any of the domains: he listed the ones he'd be willing to take off your hands if you paid him $10! That makes it fairly clear that he didn't mean it seriously, I think? He was just giving an opinion (and a very reasonable one, IMHO) in an entertaining way.

There you go Jon... Mark is offering you a perfectly good valuation of your names!

But in case you feel that $60 is not enough to fill your Dodge Viper with enough gas to get to the store for some beers with Marks $...

ALL domains have *worth* it is how you develop the DN that always decides just how much!

BetonRed .com is the DN from your list with the most *dev* potential, it is not a single or double generic, that would make it worth X,XXX+ but it has 2 very searched for terms, in it.

    Bet + Red = traffic > traffic + WP|Forum|Auth site|eStore = dev > dev + optins|members|subscribers = real sale value!

You could apply the above to the other DN's, again, it depends what you really want to do with them in the long run.

As a *slight* rule of thumb, a single|double generic english word, with a "topical|popular|niche|trending|geo location|city|service|etc etc" will always be worth a bit of $$$ developing.

Gone are the days of finding/buying/winning! any single generic DN's even if you have already thought about getting some new ones in 2014-15 when the new TLD's are released...

    love.google
    hot.sex
    fast.cars
    etc etc

If you need any further value / DN loving.. pop us over a PM

Try and keep all your .com|.net|.biz|.ccTLD domains away from the chaff names... EG: .ws|.cc|.rubbish extension that never gets found.

If you do not like any of the above, grab Mark's $10 a pop and go PARTYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

I would consider collating a list of gambling sites such as 888.com and seeing if they are interested. Try to get through to the Marketing departments.

LOTS of decent domains for sale at godaddy for $10

If you get an offer on one (if you have a site up to take offers) most would be under $100.

If someone is serious you could get up to a thousand, or maybe a couple thousand.

Valuate.com will tell you what the url is worth, if you have a business making $$$ they'd be worth much more.
