  A solo ad is where they pay you to email their offer to your subscribers.
  
  An Ad Swap is where you mail their offer to your list and they mail your offer to their list in return. Typically you will use some sort of click tracking software so you both end up sending one another the same amount of clicks.
  
  Have not heard the term solo ad swap much with them all combined though!

They are asking if they can pay you to send out an email to your email list if you have one.

ad swap is when you swap ads between your lists. eg you mail someone's ad and they mail yours in return.

  You can do "Safe" adswap here Ad swaps, sell solo and buy solo mailings at Safe-Swaps
