Affiliate Marketing Question

Which is better sending traffic directly to a sales page, or send traffic to a squeeze page first, and then to a sales page?

I'm starting out promoting a product I'm very Passionaite about and want to use paid traffic, but I feel I may have the formula wrong by sending directly to a sales page. I don't want to waste visits to the sales page if they don't convert.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Send the traffic to squeeze page first, and then to a sales page. The conversion is higher than direct linking.

And if you use Adwords for your Paid Traffic, you could not direct linking the ads to your sales page. Google will ban you. Just collect the visitor's emails first. Build your list. Build relationship by sharing case studies, stories, news, tips. And after that you could send your offers to the list.

I've run ads that run directly to the sales page with great success. Personally the best way to figure it out is to split test it. you can easily do a A and B split test to see which is more effective.

I usually like to send traffic to a review page then to the sales page. Makes for a more trust worthy experience.

Send traffic to a squeeze page first then have that sent to the sales page.

Your conversions will love you much much more.

Here is something that will work very well for you. You may thank me later.

Use your squeeze page to capture leads first. Now, when someone who doesn't want to subscribe and clicks on the X to leave your site, you can use a software that hits them with a pop under that goes to your affiliate link. There is one software that does a good job and it is called Exit Splash.

    This works very well.

I agree with using a squeeze page to collect email addresses. If you can get a potential buyers email address and then provide real content you will build up trust. Once you have done this they will buy off you again and again.....

Squeeze page first any day. You do all the hard work to get the traffic traffic to your page... Why not save some for the future?

Yes the benefit of having squeeze page is you have a lot of options/ chances to monetize the traffic. You could build your list and if they didn't want to sign-up you can still make sales by offering them something when they want to leave the page.

The sales probability is higher by using squeeze page than just direct linking.

Use Both. Always split test. From there, narrow it down to your winner.

Another possibility to try out is sending traffic to a sort of "teaser" page. That is to say, you give them just a nugget of information, or one tip or piece of advice. Then for more info have them click through and land on the sales page. I believe Ryan Deiss calls this a sandwich page.

This is good marketing skill for you, to send traffic to your squees page give you more advantage than to send to your sales page, this is information marketing, selling a product now thus not mean selling the last time, i want to beleive you will still want to sell some information in nearset future time, you find it more easy to market to the list you build in the past than to sell without growing your list, there is money in list when you have good one, that is why it is good to send traffics to your squees page and build your list for feature benefit, allways do this, send traffics to your squees page and next to your sales page, because it is not all the traffics you send to your page will be interested in the product you are selling now why don"t you have them on your list and when you have another product to sell they"l buy.

Send it to a squeeze page backed up by a good autoresponder - the money is in the list, remember??

Also, make sure that your squeeze page delivers on what you promised in your ad. Otherwise, you will have low click through rate and that will cause you some sales. Yeah, send them to your squeeze page first and then to your sales page.

    Good luck!
