Hello

Based on many Warrior opinions , e-Mail List Building is KING !
So would like to develop this subject for me and for other new warriors here.
Today i want to focus only on this and touch every area of this subject.
To be concrete:

1: How to build a e-mail list guide.
2: What is the best way to Build a List for a ClickBank Product, let`s say in the Gaming Niche (from where to start in this niche for example).
3: Where to start to develop my list building on the Gaming Niche.
4: Do i need a blog , or a website? does it matter from a SEO point of view this?
5: From your experience how long does it take to build a pretty good list so you can send offers and get your $$$$ from clickbank products ?

Thank you

Attract highly targeted traffic in the niche (personally I stay well away from that niche because I think it's a high-traffic-low-spending niche - I may be wrong, though!) and offer them something of value which is also part of your continuity-process (explained in the post liinked to above) in exchange for their email address.

I don't know the niche well enough to know this, and others who do are unlikely to give away all their carefully-researched information, I think. There's always a learning-curve.

Yes, because you can't really build a productive list without one.

I've found it varies greatly from niche to niche. It depends on (among other things) what your traffic-attracting methods are, how much traffic there is available, whether they're really potential buyers or just freebie-seekers, how easy they are to reach/attract, your own skill set at getting them to opt in, your continuity-process, and so on.

Alexa hit the nail on the head, although what I know about gaming leads me to disagree with this:

People pay a few hundred to a few thousand for a gaming system or computer. They dole out $60 for "Call of Duty 22: We Give Up On Story Telling". Those WOW people pay monthly subscriptions for that crap. An old roommate of mine actually made a couple hundred per month farming some crap on WOW and selling it to people for real cash.

It's ridiculous, right? I'll never understand it lol. Anyways, they might not be too interested in Clickbank products (game guides and crap like that can be bought at GameStop/BestBuy or found for free on forums), but they will definitely buy other stuff that you put in front of them.

    Hi artse,

you created quite a number of threads today

    Anyways to answer your questions.

    1. To build your list, offer a free giveaway as an incentive to opt in your mailing list. As for guides on this, there are tons of free information ( inside this forum and outside)
    2. Refer to #1
    3. Since this is a gaming niche , where do these gamers hangout? I'm sure they have a forum or something like that, you can join the forum and put your signature in there
OR you can find someone who is very active in the forum and not a Moderator, ask him if he could put your link in his signature for $10 for x amount of days. Pay via paypal .
    4. Again depends, are you building an authority or sniper site? a "blog" is one where contents gets updated regularly, a "website" can also be a blog. But i'm assuming you mean a "sniper site" a small set and forget site.

    5. Depending on the traffic Every niche is different.

In regards to question number 3 you could go and check out bigboards.com it has the biggest list of message boards and forums. DO a quick search on gaming forums and you will probably find one where you can promote to your list.
