Where to find high quality article writers?

Could someone recommend a place where I can find high quality article writers.

It has been recomended that this person/service must write articles that are Funny/entertaining and controversial/provocative in perfect english.

Do you have any advice on persons or services that can offer this?

Sincerely
Karl

Hmmm.....funny, entertaining, controversial, provocative. Makes me think of Joe Robinson. I think he meets three out of four of these requirements.

There are three ways to find them here.

You can check the wso section, the warriors for hire section and individual signatures of warriors here, then peruse their samples.

The first person to come to mind while reading your qualifications was this guy.

The first place to go for any type of writing, in my opinion, is the warriors for hire section.

I'll back up Rose's comment about Joe Robinson, all his posts and other things of his that I've read are very well written and funny. The only bad thing about Joe is once you start reading his work you can't stop until you reach the end so you often spend too much time reading and not taking action.

There are lots of good writers available here on WF though, you shouldn't have any trouble finding the right one.

Well, he HAS to have fans cause it gets so dadburn hot here in the holler!

Young Joe is a mighty fine young whippersnapper! The folks here in Stumpwoody call him Whistlebritches cause he's so skinny that when the wind blows through his britches it makes this whistlin sort of sound! Why, if the wind is blowin just right, you can hear it whistlin Dixie.

Karl, while I DO be recommendin Joe, I just want to be sayin that there are lots of fine writers here in the WF! Tina Golden is another fine writer type folk! I cain't start listin them folks here or I would miss my shine... ummm, tea time!

There is also a dadgum forum here in the WF that lists services offered by other Warrior Forum folks. You might go through that an see what pops up from under the log!

Good luck in your search and you come on by and visit ole Thad if you ever get down to the holler!

Piggybacking off of Thad here, a few more writers that can hopefully pique your interest (if I forget any of you that I regularly converse with feel free to chastise me):

Tina Golden, MissTerraK, danr62, deejones, Ross Cohen, ashloren, fin, JaRyCu

I don't know if any of them are funny :p; but they are definitely talented.

Ross can be funny, that's true. I wasn't sure if he does ghostwriting but his PLR work is excellent.

I don't know the writing of everyone you listed so they may fit the bill, as well. Probably not myself, though, as I am not writing for others very much at all at the moment and quite honestly, I'm not nearly as funny as Joe.

A few weeks back I know he started a WFH thread offering it. I know that he isn't prominently advertising; but I'd imagine he'd listen to a job offer if it came up.

Thanks for the shout-out there, Joe! I will say that, at least with me, I'm not the only one writing for my company. I have 3-4 of the top writers here in the WF on my staff. I just happen to be the one who's fronting the company and getting most of the exposure for it. The other writers are a little more low-key, but I do believe they can be found in the WFH subforum as well.

Paul Myers is another extremely mighty fine writer but I don't thank he is for hire. I really don't understand that because he is SO dadburn good! It's sorta like the purtiest, finest, most good lookinest harlot in the world who has remained a virgin! The talent is all there but it just ain't been put to use yet!

Gettin back to young Joe, here is what he was tellin me...

[6/13/2012 2:32:13 PM] Joe Robinson: I'm baaaaack, and I would like to announce that Chipotle is the best damn restaurant ever.

I am thankin that if you was take him out to get him a burritto at that there restaurant he loves so much he might just give you all the writin you be wantin! That boy sure does love his burritoes but they DO tend to make him a little gaseous! Lord have mercy, if I could bottle THAT up I could make some... refreshments... that kicked like a sixteen legged mule!

    Karl,

I disagree that "high quality writing" qualifies as such only if it meets the criteria you listed above. Funny / entertaining and controversial / provocative writing certainly has it's place, but quite frankly, it's not always appropriate.

For example, if your content is geared to desperate buyers who are seeking a solution for a health issue, I can almost guarantee you that being entertained is not a high priority for them. They want solid information and a solution - or something that points them in the direction of finding the appropriate solution.

    That's just one example.

My point is, don't get too focused on such limiting criteria for "high quality". Entertainment has its place; controversy has its place; but they aren't the be all and end all of great content.

If you find a writer of the quality the OP wants on Odesk, that poor guy/gal doesn't know what they are worth. Same thing for Elance and some of those other sites where content is bought at prices just as low (or lower) than here on the forum.

Nice Pitufo avatar by the way .
