New to marketing

Hello everyone!

I apologize if this thread is placed in the wrong part of the forum. Forgive me, I am new here. My name is Alex. I'm 18 years old and living in Connecticut. I am new to the warrior forum as well as internet marketing. I already have a website development business, but I would like to make additional money on the Internet, and became very interested in internet marketing.

I have several problems though. I don't know where to start! I would like to learn as much as I can here on the warrior forum for free, I don't really want to buy any ebooks. I'd prefer free ones. Another problem is I am not quite sure what Internet marketing is... However, I am very interested in learning as much as I can about it and seeing how far I can get with it. I see all these ebook creaters claiming they've made thousands without leaving their home. Although it may just be hype, I am quite interested.

So if anyone could educate me a little or point me in the right direction, that would be excellent! I hope to become friends with everyone here on the warrior forum! Thank you very much, I look forward to hearing from many of you.

    Internet Marketing can be a number of things, but it primarily relates to making money through marketing products/services to people online. These can be either your products/services or other people's, where you would earn commissions on sales made through you.

    The forum here has recently made a big switch, so you are missing a lot of good content. Go here and browse the old archives for a while. There is a gold mine of information in the old forum.

    There really are only two pieces critical to success with IM. Being able to get traffic to your site, & being able to convert that traffic into sales. It's obviously not that simple, or there wouldn't be thousands of books on the subject, but that's it in a nutshell.

    Hi Alex,

    While at some point you will have to spend some money to make any kind of a go of a business, you have come to the right place.

    It's possible to make money with just the free info you can get here. It just depends on what interests you, what you read, and how you take action on it.

    As for free ebooks, you also have come to the right place. There is a thread that has an amazing array of ebooks you can learn from, resell or give away, depending on the rights granted.

    However, it appears that the section is being rebuilt. There are only a few items there at the moment and there were tons not too long ago. Keep checking back, and watch it grow.

      thank you all for replying, I hope to hear more! I was wondering, how much does the average internet marketer from WF make? Also, how long does it take to make a good amount of money for someone who is just starting out like me?

        Since you are new, I would recommend that you browse through the forum to learn more about internet marketing.

        The average registered "Warrior" probably makes little to no money. That's simply a function of how many people give up on the idea too early, or come into the idea of internet marketing with unrealistic expectations.

        People do make thousands of dollars with one e-mail. But, people often fail to take into consideration the many hours it took to gain subscribers, build a relationship with them, develop a product, etc.

        If you are committed, diligently learn various aspects of IM (not just hang around the forums like me ), and take a lot of focused action along the way, it is not out of the realm of possibility to be making a couple grand a month very shortly.

        But 95% of people who start off in IM fail to do any of the above, and consequently fail.

        Hi Alex333 and welcome to the new forums! I'm also new to IM and I think you would learn alot from reading this thread from the old Warrior Forums. I just started using his plan last week and it seems to be starting to work.

        How much you make, or how much you can make is not a real fair question.

        It will all depend on you, the choices you make, and above all, the amount and kind of effort(WORK) you are willing or able to devote to it.

    My first recommendation isfor you to join the The War Room - Private Discussions here on the WF. It cost $37.00 one time I think, but man when they get all the threads moved over here from the old WF you will not believe the information in there.

    Take your time once you get in there and take it thread by thread. You are hearing it from the people who are actually doing it. Many of them will have free downloads including Allen Says the owner and admin of this forum.

    If you can afford it go for it.

    I am sure you are at the right place.

    As for free ones, you can check out this forum. There are tons and tons of useful threads for you to read and learn from. =)

    Internet marketing is simply marketing something online.

    It can be selling any product from a physical item or a digital item or just an idea or service on the internet.
