    Hey Dave,
There are a number of different products out there. What kind of ebook do you want to create? A book to sell on Kindle, short report, WSO?

I don't have a particular course in mind. Is for amazon, nook, something similar? Or is it to sell as a product?

The best advice I ever heard on doing this was from Eben Pagan. He says to make an outline of the 10 main points your course is going to cover, then go back through and add bullet points under each main point outlining what you are going to cover. After you've done that, go back and add content under each sub point. So it might look something like this:

      Time Management For Unorganized Slobs:
Chapter One: Messy Surroundings = Messy Thoughts
      ·
      Keep Your Environment Clean
      Paragraph here
      Paragraph here
      Maybe one more paragraph here

Desk, Kitchen and Bedroom: The three most important places in your life, and how they’re destroying your productivity
      Paragraph here
      Paragraph here
      Maybe one more paragraph here

Hygiene First: You must feel clean to be clean
      Paragraph here
      Paragraph here
      Maybe one more paragraph here

Boring example, but do you see my point? The next chapter would look the same. Basically, the chapters are the ten main points you created in the outline. You can do more or less depending on your needs. You wouldn't believe how quick you can create a product using this method.

      Hope that helps.

I like Jimmy D. Brown when it comes to product creation and Jason Fladlien's 48 hour report (or something like that) was very good. What's very cool about Jimmy D. Brown is you can clearly see he makes his money doing what he's teaching. Plus he's been around donkeys years.

    Hi,

I don't think the number of pages matters. The quality does.
Pictures are absolutely necessary - your e-book has to be agreeable enough for people to be willing to keep reading it once they've started. Creating a nice cover is also necessary - as a good visual is really required, your e-book may be virtual but most people are still attracted to the look and feel of a real book.

I agree fladlien's book is a great place to start - it will give you a solid structure to start. I have adapted his approach for my own template and it has worked out well.

I agree with the above comment Jason Fladlien's work is great. The tip on the quality is also worth its price in gold. I have purchased a couple of Kindle Book course WSO's which provide some great insight into developing your own book as well. If you are wanting to start with some content, picking up some PLR products may be a way to get a quick outline, just make sure you rewrite with your own style and make it original. Just my thoughts.

Creating an ebook is very simple:

    1. Write it up in word document
    2. Go to free pdf convert and convert it to a PDF
    3. Upload it to your server
    4. Start selling it

But maybe you meant how to research a topic and how to market it? Those are the two most important steps...

    hey bud,

    stickyebooks.com

great site that will point u on the right track.

take it from me, i learned the hard way, if there's anything I can pass to you on terms of advice....

-its not about the amount of pages, its about quality of content...

-add pictures frequently, keep reader entertained

    - no big block paragraphs

    - keep it short but sweet

    - you want your book to cover just one aspect of your niche, don't go extremely broad

    hope that helps!

Just bear in mind that writing and creating your book are the simple parts of the process. You need to find something that covers market research and positioning if you are ever to actually start selling it.

    Good luck.

    Hello Dave,

There are many different ways to publish your eBook as well as different ways to research them (many posts here have given you some good tips).

But the MOST IMPORTANT THING is to ask your customers (or potential customers) what they want... do they want Kindle, do they want PDF? What topics do they want to see covered? Do they want research with 'how to' or do they want practical knowledge (stories).

The ONLY way you can every know these things is to ASK them.

an electronic ebook which usually is constantly on the surge inside Internet website marketing business possesses already been about the excellent directory items to advertise. You have to consider in to concern in which it's not the standard ebook that a target audience should be looking at, and this shouldn't be being a story extended ebook, that have to be short, concise and understandable. Make sure the actual components are structured well to your market to learn the item with no issues. Make sure the actual characters usually are not too modest and substantial to your customers to learn well.

Use the search function in here brah?

But it really comes down to hard work and creating something that people want...meaning in a market that is hot.

Remember the poker market back when that was hot. We came up with a brillant book that out mastered some of the bigger more well known books or ebooks, and we had a nice twist to it.

You have to be creative, and not be just one of the books on the shelf. It is not just about the ebook creation...its about the awesome content you are to put in that book. You have to be different get people talking and slivering over what you have on offer.

That is where the MAGIC lies.

hey the process I use all the time is
    • Research: I just wrote an article here on Warrior showing an example of three ways to know which niches will sell. Check it out here
    • Write
    • Market

Rinse and repeat...over and over again.

Each step is different but just as important as the next.

The great thing that I learned is that you dont have to worry about the number of pages, but if it is under 30 pages you can do a couple of things. Or at least I like to do a couple of things...

One is place article in the title. For instance one of my books is " How To Survive an affair [Article]"

And when you load it into Kindle or smashwords, put how many pages are in the definition. So using the same example, I would say...in this 24 page article I explain how any marriage can survive an affair...

If you go over 30 pages then you dont need to worry about this as much.

I do have a resource that breaks all this down...Article Marketing Strategy for 2013...

But the last thing to pay attention too is formatting, there is free software you can use, but whatever you use, make sure it is formatted correctly.

Here are a couple of sites...
