How to put affiliate links on pinterest?

edit board and add in description, like you would on your youtube video. You could also watermark your website in the photo.

Hi,

You'll need to cloak them first.
Then, preferably, put pictures on your blog or site and pin them. Read my tutorial if you don't know how to do that.

PS: When I want to make a direct link I use my custom cloaking script that can include a picture (I've added this feature specifically for Pinterest).

Do you think this robot is really good results? If I want to buy it, what do I need to do? to buy a proxy? Buy a a lot of pinterest account?

Hi,

It's helped me develop 1 account so far. I haven't bought the multi-accounts version (which only costs $20 more but I wanted to give it a try on one single account first).

You don't "buy" Pinterest accounts. Once you have one you can invite yourself over and over again so this shouldn't be a problem. Always keep at least one spare account in case your original one gets banned (this hasn't happened to me yet, but then I am being reasonable, and so should you! There are some maximum following / repinning figures advised on their site and I'm respecting them).

As for proxies... I don't know. I'm using the bot on one account only but I have opened 3 other Pinterest accounts and I've used them manually a little bit, with no problem. As a comparison, I have 5 Twitter accounts and didn't get banned... So unless you plan on having a LOT of accounts I don't think there'd be any problem. But that's just a guess.

If I were you I'd give the free demo a try and then see from there.

  From what I have read Pinterest is deleting Amazon affiliate links even if they are cloaked. So if you click thru, you will get a this message has been reported as Spam.
  In addition, they are tracking down other affiliate networks and trying to delete those links also.
  
  So may be best to pin your blog or web2.0 site, direct traffic there and have the affiliate link there.

Buy a new domain with the sole purpose of creating cloaked links or just use some existing domain you have; if you use your amazon affiliate link direct on Pinterest it will be replaced.

That's why you've got to use a script like mine... The link goes to your website and then the visitor is redirected after a few seconds. I've never had any problem with it!
Oh and by the way, don't bother using bit.ly... They seem to be blocking these.
ALWAYS test your own links - this doesn't apply only to Pinterest.

I believe the only long-term way to get your affiliate links on Pinterest is to NOT put them on Pinterest. As they get more popular, they're also getting smarter about what us marketers want to do on their site. Like facebook.

I know a few guys who use Pinterest by driving people to a blog. The blog has a few good posts full of pictures like the ones on Pinterest. The blog also has tons of ads. Again, these ads are related to the content.

Add your own banners to the blog, and boom. There's your affiliate link. The secret here is that you're not tricking anyone. Trickery only lasts so long...

And it is standalone, doesn't require WP - doesn't even need a database.
