What percent of your list should convert into sales?
I am wondering what percent of your list should convert into sales? I am currently building a list and am trying to establish what a good sales conversion rate is for a list? As of now I am struggling to get sales out of my list, which is rather frustrating. As I spent a lot of time building that list. I now have a good idea how to generate traffic and get people to opt-in to my list, but the challenge for me now is actually converting that list into money.
Let's say I have 1,000 subscribers on my list. What percent should convert into sales each month? If I'm promoting an affiliate product where my commission is $20 and 10% purchase it, then that is $2,000 worth of sales.
I would be grateful if you could share what a monthly sales conversion should be out of a list. That way I can calculate how much I should invest in creating the list.
