    That's not unique content.

To create unique content - truly unique content - think of a passionate topic. What you love. Close all your internet tabs, email... open up a Microsoft Word document... a blank one.

Start writing! Start with an introduction, couple lovely, informative, super-awesome paragraphs in the middle, close it strong, and don't forget an intriguing title!

Save it - post it - and now there's a unique article.

      Well said Ross!

I was going to say something similar.

Unique content is only one part of the puzzle. Quality is another. Put them together and you can begin to do interesting stuff.

Read the articles or content and 2 or 3 similar ones, make notes and then write the best article you can from them, it will be unique, it will take longer but shouldn't take more than an hour or 2 tops even for a good article and at least it will be your own.

I take a topic that people in my niche are wanting to have addressed - someting for which I can provide a solution. I look at other people's ideas and construct my own take on how to handle that problem.

Sometimes I don't have a solution, but do have a unique way of stating the situation. Maybe the solution will come out later.

I wouldn't dare call rewriting unique content. Unique means original. I agree with Ross. As a strategy write about something you are knowledgeable or passionate about. Or, research something you're interested in, but add your own unique angle. Dissect what you read and write down why you agree or disagree with what you've read...and write your own unique content.

Everyone above is right, if you want truly unique content then you need to write it 100% by yourself. Or, you could pay someone to right it 100% by themselves.

Unique and original are not necessarily synonymous. If he rewrites the first and last paragraphs then the new article is at least partially unique. It's original still IF he created the first article out of his own head.

What Tina said. And, what Google considers unique is different than what we might consider unique. Flip a bunch of words around and Google might, but when it's not your content, not your research, is it really unique?

When I write unique content, one of my methods is to take the given a topic to write about whether it be from a client or one I choose, I then do the research and fact gathering.

Once I have all of the background for the topic, I then just use my mind to search for something that I could compare some of the points with and then begin an analogy or conceptualization between the topic and something else whether it be sheep herding, preparing the perfect hamburger or water skiing.

Naturally, you need to have an idea of your target audience, but if you don't you could choose an analogy or conceptualization geared for males and females and create two unique pieces.

  • Creating Unique articles doesn't mean that you are going to create something which is not exist all over the internet. It really means an information or advice or your experience you have got in your field must be expressed in your angle of perception. It should be easily understood by the readers. It is most important.

If you're syndicating articles from ezinearticles you're not allowed to edit them. You can add your own introductory paragraph before the article and you can say what you want after the article but you are not allowed to alter the article.

I hope you're at least leaving the author's resource box intact so they get the link they deserve if you're using their article.

To create original content you either need to write it or hire someone else to write it for you.

I second, third, fourth, and fifth what everyone has said on here. Its NOT unique, and if you are editing ezine articles that belong to other authors then its illegal.

Quite apart from anything else, by rewriting the first paragraph you would be effectively putting people off from reading the remainder of the article if your own writing skills are anything to go by.

Even doing a whole rewrite of one article is plagiarism. You need to pick up some ideas and facts from a number of sources and then compile those facts and ideas along with some of your own ideas into your own words. That's how you get a unique article.

I agree, but also would like to add that it actually isn't wise to do research from articles found on Ezine. Although there are many excellent writers there, there are just as many if not more, articles that just don't have correct or up to date material in them. Who wants to "rewrite" and spread misinformation?

It is not a good way to go about attempting to be seen as an authority in your niche.

Once you know the subject of what you are going to write on note down the points that you are going to include in the article. Start writing around those points and keep writing until you have 500-600 words. Save the draft and check it a bit later. Whatever you have written will be unique content because you have not copied nor spun an existing article.

Articles you've written, or articles other people have written?!

If they're other people's articles, you're flagrantly breaching both Ezine Articles' Terms Of Service and the author's copyright, every time you do it. I mean this is the nicest possible way, of course - but try that with one of my articles and the next thing you know, a DMCA notice email will arrive at your hosting company and your website will be gone.

Writing a unique, quality content about a topic you love and familiar about is a easier compared to writing about a topic that is new to you. Though ezinearticles is a great source for unique and reliable articles, rewriting the first or last paragraphs is often not enough. I agree with karlmay1980, in gathering many similar or relevant articles to get your idea from. You will know where to fit the paragraphs and ideas once you read your collected articles.
