Anyone Have Success Listing On JVZoo?

Have you had any success listing your product on JVZoo?

I've heard people are talking about it.

Also, is it easier to get customers by using this site? For example, Google traffic.

Thanks for your comments!

Kind regards, Ian Stables

Never tried Warriorplus. But isn't there a fee. There usually is. JVZoo is free and I've noticed a lot of buzz about it on Warriors.

There is a new version of Warriorplus that is free. They just take 2.5% of every sale.

JVZoo is not free. It's free to list, yes, but they do take a small percentage of each sale, just like the new version of W+. I prefer a flat rate personally, as percentages usually cost more if you sell a lot of copies, but It's not so much as to make me say no. (I suppose if I had a real dud, it would cost less).

I've used both and I was quite impressed with JVZoo on my first go with them. I plan to use them more in the future.

For actual WSO's, I think Warrior Plus will suit most people just fine. However, I'm very much considering DigiResults for my main website because I can use their script to allow me to also list my product on Clickbank and PayDotCom fluidly to capture the affiliate base at all 3. This alone is extremely difficult for me to pass up.

I like being able to offer affiliates the "instant commission" option that DigiResults can provide, but also pull affiliates from the larger more well known networks.

Used it and it works great. Relatively low cost, easy to use and good stats page for all your offers. Also seemed to good for attracting affiliates.

I love the way they are competing against each other. We end up winning!

I used JVZoo for my first WSO. It worked totally fine - I am completely pleased, and will be using it for my new WSO as well.

JVZoo just added a cool feature - extra tight integration with GetResponse. I had been using AWeber, but this is enough to make me switch. With this integration, you can automatically add your buyers to a list without making them re-confirm / re-opt-in. This means my customer list will be 100% without any hassles to the customers.

Hey Leo, E. Brian, or anyone else?

How does this work? I've seen it mentioned a few times and searched and search on JVZoo for more details, but can't find out how to implement it.

      Can anyone help?

        Hey Kurt and Angela,

All the information is here: https://www.jvzoo.com/sellers/getresponse

If you currently have a GetResponse account, simply create a new account through our form and migrate your other lists over. We've already spoken to them about it concerning people with existing accounts there. Just create a new one through our form so you instantly get single optin and then contact their compliance and have your old lists moved to your new account.

          Thanks Bryan...

Quick question: Will our input forms also be moved? Or do we have to create and replace all of our old subscribe forms?

Been marketing online 10+ years, sold millions of dollars worth of digital and physical products on practically every major platform that exists now or that has come and gone and **NONE** have been as easy to use or successful (as in net profit/bottom line results) as using JVZoo.

The guys behind it are also working their asses off to the continuing benefit of both JVZoo vendors and affiliates and the rate of development and responsiveness I've seen in the last 6 months out-strips any other service I've experienced.

We have been using JVZoo since the start of January (this year) - and we love it, both as affiliates and vendors.

In that time we have had 5 or 6 big WSO launches that all sold over 3000 front end copies - so the affiliate base is definitely there, but as with any platform you need to do some work to attract the affiliates (they have a bazillion options each day).

We did use Warrior Plus briefly before finding JVZoo... Not familiar with their recent changes - but they way they did split payments meant we had to move on (it's against PayPal TOS).

JVZoo on the other hand use the Paypal Adaptive Pay system - which is how Paypal wants you to do it. And every single other feature in Zoo is superior too (in my option anyway).

The thing I like the most about JVZoo is how responsive they are to member suggestions - they are constantly improving and adding new stuff almost daily - this is the way I want my payment processor to work!

Some of you may know that we were heavy Clickbank users in the past - and as others have reported in this thread... Switching to JVZoo increased (more than tripled) our conversion rates - and at the same time reduced refund rates to less than 1%

So the answer to the OP question is... it is VERY much possible to build a successful business using JVZoo as your processor and affiliate program... Provided that you do what is needed yourself of course.

Simon, have you sold physical products on JVZoo? I can't seem to find the answer on their website. Any other recommendations, if not? So tired of dealing with merchant accounts. I had more success and less hassle/fees with Paypal.

You can actually do this with Aweber. I just set my buyers list to single opt-in and emails automatically get added when a customer purchases my product.

I guess my question would be success with what exactly. Both are great option in the end you just have to decide which one you think works better for you.
For me it would be JVZoo b/c of many things, but more so recently now that they have a better GetResponse option - I think GetResponse is the best autoresponder out there.

Don't limit yourself to one marketplace if you have a product to sell, list it in as many marketplaces as possible.

Both my WSOs were with JVZoo, and I have no complaints at all. I would definitely recommend going for the flat fee ($17) rather than the 5% commission if you are running a WSO - you don't need many sales before you start saving money.

No matter where you list your offer, you need to get affiliates on board if you want to get a decent number of sales. Build relationships with other marketers, and join facebook and skype JV groups - network.

I think I just have to use WarriorPlus

But can someone explain what is that 2.5% fee on Warrior Plus ? I have only come a cross the one which gives information about 19$ listing fee.

That's still one sale more, who knows you might get more in the future. You should try building up your affiliates, by offering 100% commissions. Seeing how you not getting to many sales anyway, you could build your customer list through JVZoo.

Bear in mind that the Warrior Forum has nothing to do with Warrior Plus. Warrior Plus is owned and run by a completely different person.

We're very happy with JVzoo.com from both the vendor & affiliate side of business.

We've used most of the major platforms out there such as Clickbank, paydotcom, 1shoppingcart, Digiresults, Warrior + etc as well as our own in house software over the past 10 years.

We started using JVZoo in mid December last year because they were the only instant commission platform using paypal's official API system at the time that we knew of.

We do not use any instant commission platform that uses rotating payment scripts or that does not communicate well with it's vendors & affiliates.

Compared to other platforms we've seen our refund rates go from 10%-20% on places such as Clickbank to less than 2% on Jvzoo on average.

We've also seen our conversion rates improve with many of our offers go from only 2%-3% elsewhere to maintaining well over 6%-10%+ on the front end and OTO conversions upwards of 50% and higher many times.

Our affiliates are also happier cause they get paid instantly and get to keep most of what they earn due to lower refund rates. Same goes for us when we promote products on JVZoo as affiliates.

After being burned by quite a few vendors in the past, some very big names in fact, who never paid out (still owe us money years later) or finally paid out after 6 months to a year of waiting we rather like the fact that we know we will always get paid when promoting something.

There have been many major improvements over the past 6 months as well for such a new company. They listen to their vendors and many more great improvements are coming forth this year too.

There fees are reasonable and make running affiliate programs for your products very simple. The logical choice for us was and is to continue using JVZoo.

I can second everything mentioned above by Memberspeed, Simon and IM Wealth Builders.
I also used every platform possible in the last 7 years I've been full time online (hosted and self hosted). I did give JVzoo a try in January 2012. All I can say is that it was way more than a try: sky high conversions, low cart abandonment, highly responsive team, 100% reliable platform.

The way they support the Paypal API is what made me try them, compared to other platforms I was then using (especially Warrior Plus which caused me issues with Paypal).

Most products I released in 2012 were launched on JVzoo platform (and I processed multiple 6 figures in the first 6 months there). So, for sure it's the way to go.

Of course you need to produce high quality product with the right marketing as well (sales letter, affiliate contests, swipe emails...) or your conversion will suck whatever platform you use.

I've got a question relating to instant JV partners and instant affiliate payments. What happens if a customer requests a refund?

Let's say I sell a product at $10 with 50% commission. The affiliate gets his or her $5 instantly on the sale but if the buyer requests a refund, they would come to me as the seller. I would refund $10, potentially leaving me $5 out of pocket. So how does JVZoo deal with this?

I think you can choose how you want to handle commissions. Instant, delayed, or denied. So you may just give instant commissions to trusted affiliates. With delayed commissions, your affiliates are paid after your set money back period is passed. So if someone asks for a refund within this period, you will not be out of pocket.

    HiTom,

Thanks for your comment. But it seems to me that 'instant commissions' is a great selling point for affiliates and one I would like to take advantage of. I'm just wondering if a JVZoo rep or someone who sells via their set-up has any insight into how this works in practice when it comes to refunds.

Am I right in saying the sales from customers go directly to into your Paypal Account and then refunds which you need to manage are then refunded directly from your account

I think JVZoo will have access to certain Paypal details of yours, would the customer ever see any of your Paypal details, like email address etc

On one of niches I work under a pen name so hope this would still work under their system.

      Thanks if you can help

I think the customer would see your email address on the receipt that gets sent.

  • My experience with JVZoo was really depressing.
Only 1 sale in 3 months with 2 products, and one received no visits at all.

The best ever is Warrior Plus for me, but I also got excellent results with CLickbank and Payspree.

    See you soon,
    Alessandro

Has anyone seen conversion differences , specifically cart abandon rate differences, between jvzoo and clickbank when selling a product that's NOT targeted at other internet marketers or more internet savvy type people???

I have a feeling that the name "JVZOO" will not seem as credible a creditcard processing brand to the average joe as something with a more official-professional sounding name like "ClickBank"....

Im not saying I personally trust it less, but the average joe doesnt know what "JV" means, and especially when you tack the word "zoo" onto the end of it I would wonder if they'd be more leary of it as a legit and secure method to pay (that is, before they even have a chance to see the paypal page)

I have been with them since they launched the guys are awesome I have had some success using them and there are a ton of others who do daily. jvzoo is the number 1 marketplace imo for both affiliates and vendors. These guys have a super solid system and they work extremely hard at making it the best experience anyone could hope for. Great platform, solid support, backed by some of the best guys around, I know them and I am thankful to.

    I love it!

Can you sell physical products through JVZoo? I've been trying to find an alternative to straight Paypal, and tired of dealing with merchant accounts on our new niche product. It's in real estate investing. Any advice would be awesome, thanks.
