It depends on how fast you want traffic. If you want instant traffic then PPC, solo ads or banner ads. If you want to build leverage through "Free" methods then Guestposting, Syndication, Forum Marketing, Video Marketing, etc.

I think Facebook Ads is the most effective way to drive fast traffic to your landing page.

You can have ads showing within hours and get traffic instantly.

Solo Ads are the easiest way to get traffic, and they can be really fast (sometimes you gotta wait for your ad to be scheduled though).

Solo Ads consist in you paying somebody with a responsive list to send an email recommending the free gift you have in you landing page.

It's really simple and you can find solo ad vendors here in the Warrior Forum under "Joint Venture" section.

    Good luck!

Facebook ads is a good one for fast results. I have a campaign running since 3 days ago and i prefer it much better than google adwords (PPC)!

It allows me to target really accurately for the best possible results!

Last time i checked, around 3 - 5 likes every 2 hours and some optins as well!

Optin rate is about 1-2 every hour.

I've have received slightly better optins on certain campaigns.

I would stay clear of Google Adwords, but I'm probably biased because I've been burned by them too many times.

As far as results, you will see faster results with paid advertisements, but I'm not a huge fan of paying to make money. I would definitely recommend the free, long term solutions such as SEO, blog/forum posting, and list building. Slower, but will definitely pay off in the long run. Use PPC for a quick boost, and build your list with the traffic you get.

Offline advertising such as classified or small display ads can be very cost-effective, and some niches such as home/garden/kitchen/recipes/diet/fitness/automotive/hobbies/crafts have astounding conversion rates.

my main traffic sources for my squeeze page is my personal blog and solo ads

blog traffic is free and can be built up over time

while your waiting for your blog to build you can start building your list fast and to a good size with solo ads

there are lots of other ways but these 2 ways are the easiest for me and the most profitable

The best way for me is Adwords Display Network (banner ads).

With ADN, yo could get traffic much cheaper than Search Network, but with the same quality.
Adwords is really strict, so you really need to read the TOS carefully.

The best way is the one that works for you!

I know that sounds like a cop out, but all of the methods that you've mentioned can work. I don't think there's one method that is the best for everyone! Don't lock in on one method without trying the others.

Take the time and spend the money to try different ways of driving traffic. Track the results. The one with the best result is the best method for you.

      You got the point

just like the OP ask,, Myself have some authority account in niche forum I targeted,, so I just leave a signature or something like that
so the traffic is very targeted for me (despite they are just looking some freebies )

Just do with your comfortable method, try, mix, and do it wit patient

It depends on what product you're offering. I'm having success using solo ads for IM products. Adwords would be ok for other cpa offers. But be sure to set up an optin page so you can at least get emails.

There is no "best" way, but here are a few great ways to drive highly targeted traffic to landing pages:

    PPC - Facebook & StumbleUpon's Paid Discovery
    GuestBlogging
    Webinars

Tip for GuestBlogging: Create a personalized landing page that corresponds with the blog you're writing for. So if I'm guestblogging on Copyblogger, I'm creating a landing page that says "This is an exclusive offer for Copyblogger readers" or something to that effect. Yes it's tedious, but personalizing these landing pages will increase conversion rates by upwards of 10-15%

Tips for Webinars: Promote your webinar at least 2-3 weeks in advance, Build your audience far in advance. Give some teaser content, maybe 3 pieces of your best stuff from your product. Yes your best stuff, but the keyword from my previous sentence was "teaser", create information gaps so they want more. Create a personalized landing page specifically for your webinar attendees, and you will see conversion rates that are shockingly high.

Wish you the best, Hope the tips help!

In my opinion SEO for the long run, you need it for ppc anyway but if not you can receive free search engine traffic. You use SEO in forum posts, comments on blogs, blog posts, etc. Also videos are also an excellent way to get traffic, people love watching videos and as youtube is a high ranking site your video ranks high as well
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[6456129].message }}
  • For fast and targeted traffic, I'd vote for solo email blasts.

Solo ads are the most effective for quick targeted traffic (or PPC if you know what you are doing).
Then Forum posting (not spammy comments)
Then banner ads (in the right places)
    Then blog.

Paid advertising is protected from algorythm changes by Google and is instant, unlike endless SEO and article writing.

However, all of this is useless if your landing page and funnel are not set up properly. You must have the ability to capture the email address of your visitors and build your list (or lists actually). If you don't, your traffic is wasted.

Too many people want to switch on the traffic before the back end is set up properly. This then leads to them blaming the traffic whewn things don't work.

I also say that PPC ads can drive a lot of traffic if you carefully choose your keywords. prem khaira has shown a very good example with Facebook.
I suggest you to use Adwords, it has a very good algorithm don't hesitated to spend money as the traffic you will receive worth them. In addition websites which your adds will be shown are valued sites with quality content.

If it is possible, find popular forum in your niche and look for the most reputable members with high post count (but not admins or moderators!). Once you have found the person who meets this criteria, ask him if you could rent his signature for a couple of days. If you see it works, make a deal.

The trick is that basically he is doing all the job for you: writes meaningful posts, helps others (this is especially important if you are not an expert in the nich you are going to work).

Worked well for me in gaming and forex niches (especially forex, since I know nothing about it but had a very decent product to promote) and I see no reasons why it can't work in any other niches.

I think you'll find a lot of people do forum posting.

However, not just posting for the sake of posting. You need to provide genuine helpful info.

When people see you've got useful information they will be more inclined to visit your website to get more of the same.

The old rule: Give to receive

Give quality and you'll receive quality results.

    So get posting.

    Kind regards, Ian Stables

I'd go with paid media as the best/fastest way to drive tons of traffic.

Forum posting can get you about 2-5 leads every few days if you post like a normal person i.e. just 5-10 posts a day.

    • Add call-to-action buttons on your website, blog, and social media profiles. Send a targeted email to your existing customers with a link to your landing page. Share your page on social networking sites. Create a blog, add relevant content, and include a link to your landing page. Write useful posts for article directories and add your link in the author box.

Forum marketing definitely works...but if you are only getting 2-5 leads per day, then either you a) aren't providing value b) your squeeze page isn't converting, or c) you are hanging out on the wrong forum...

I have been burned too many times by using classified ads, facebook ads, google ads, etc.
I just don't have that "magic" ad writer's touch I guess.

Mostly I use what I call promo videos to capture people attention and push them to a specific blog post or page.

A promo video is not a "talking head". SO many small business people do those without understanding unless you are a trained actor or "reality star" material, you come across as stiff and overly formal.

I try to either showcase the product that the business sells (all by itself with just music) or I catch the business person going about their normal day (most us always look better performing live action) instead of trying to play game-show host.

          But that's just my 2-sense!

I've had some results with Adwords, but it isn't my favorite method. I like solo ads simply because the sudden burst of traffic can be very significant. There may be a delay before your 'turn' comes round. But it's usually worth the wait.

Facebook is aslo a goodie, as is sending emails to your list.

My suggestion would be, pick one method from those presented and concentrate on that only. That way, you'l get really good at it. You need to make sure you're getting the most out of any particular method, rather than just giving it a 'shot', and then moving on.

Just my 2c - hope it helps !

I agree - the people reading the articles who then click on the link to your landing page are probably going to be very interested in what you send to them afterwards if they read your article and then sign up on your landing page because they want more information afterwards.

there are a lot of ways to drive traffic on your landing page like facebok marketing, email marketing,
article writing and forums and the other one is back links from other sites.

its just that how unique and interesting content you have on your website which is helpful for the user. if you have useful content then automatically you will be ranked higher by the google and most users will move forward to your site.

It all depends on what resources and knowledge one currently has. More specifically, if you have more time than money, then niche forum posting, guest posting, article writing/syndication and building a social media following are great. But if you have more money than time you just can't beat paid advertising.

I personally like solos/adswaps as targeted sources of traffic. I honestly can't stand Google PPC but I am starting to warm up to Bing PPC's system as I work and learn more about it.

I would normally drive traffic to a review page about the product rather than to the landing page directly as it increases conversion 2X - 3X. I would try to write a good review with the pros and cons of the product, ensuring that the pros outweighs the cons before having a clickable "call to action" banner right at the end.

All of the methods listed in this thread will be somebody's favorite. From what I've seen, all the huge media buying guys recommend picking 1 traffic source and mastering it.

So try a few if you haven't already. Then pick one, use it, research it, talk to other people that use it, and learn all the ins and outs.

Then, after all that, you can move on to add another one to your mix.

All these methods work to some extent. However, you need to pick one and then tweak it until it gets you huge results. Some methods never will do that but some will provide very fast results. But only if you do it the right way.
