Any YouTube marketing tips please?

Make sure that you don't go and describe your product first, try to come with something funny or something to get the user attention, then talk about the product that you wish to promote.

This way you will generate more sales and possible more subscribers.

I've done this for Amazon affiliate links and bit.ly and never had a problem.

I haven't gone and checked this detail myself, but I have seen others suggest that YouTube's TOS don't allow you to use affiliate links in your description area.

I would go check the TOS myself if I wanted to do this. I always link to my own sites within my videos, so I have not had the need to check.

BUT if I were going to use an affiliate link (and validated that it's allowed) I would never trust a third party free service. I would buy a domain and create redirects. It's way more reliable.

Nothing really. Go ahead and create affiliate videos but just make sure you have one channel per market that you enter. Don't have one channel where you have review videos for like 300 different products all in a different market (I learned this the hard way i.e. flagged )

No you should be okay if you have a separate account for each market you enter. Don't just have review videos though. Offer some relevant content.

You can do both. You can promote really anything you want. I've had success direct linking to a salespage but linking to a relevant squeeze page offer is a smart move too.

In Youtube's search results but not really in Google's search results.

One thing you can do is include your web address as a watermark.

You Tube has been shutting down people in the make money online niche. Even big gurus. You Tube videos should either be informative or entertainment but not just all selling.

If you are trying to deceive people then yes. If you are making entertainment videos or info videos then no. You can make hundreds to thousands.

Marketing on Youtube is fine. It is how Youtube and all of it's advertisers make money. However, you may be waving a red flag from the get go if all you do is load up on affiliate links. As for cloaked links, I wouldn't try anything black-hat on Youtube because all it takes is 3 community warnings and your channel is poof! Up in smoke.

Yes, especially for different niches. Makes sense to do so and Youtube pretty much suggests that in their own "partner" marketing tips.

There are millions of videos and advertisements doing either or both. It really depends on how compelling your CTA is to be deemed effective. I for one prefer to use Youtube as a lead capture for list building.

It is only one of the ranking factors, and like Google itself we just don't know how effective that is. However, you can find a boat-load of services that sell video views and they WILL tell you it does matter.

I would just stay away from reviews and clickbank products altogether.

The major reason being there is a lot of competition for reviews already, and if not done under YT guidelines, your channel could be easily red-flagged and you know... up in smoke, on a cloudy Sunday morning.

Honestly video reviews tend to be boring, lame and really just lack credibility because there is always a CTA with an affiliate link with it. Anybody can say anything on a video, so why should I trust you if this is the first time I have seen anything from you?

Now, it's okay to make review videos, but offer them to your LIST only you have built a relationship with them. In other words, use Youtube to build your credibility in a niche and get a following. Then send out recommendations via auto responder at a later date. Your chance of turning a sale that way is significantly more measurable.

For example. Let's say you want to sell Rocket German from ClickBank. Well an angle for this might be to put up a series of Youtube videos that have travel tips for Germany. You can make a lot of Keynote (err... that's PowerPoint for those of you still using PCs) and screenflow videos showing some really great deals, places to see, and tips on money and euros.

Ahhh... now you have an audience that is likely travelling to Germany for the first time. You can capture them with an offer for a free email series titled "The 11 Best Tours to Take While Vacationing in Germany".

Now cleverly interwoven with those helpful email tips are additional emails, saying something like,

So A) You've built trust as a reliable source and a go to channel on Youtube for travel tips to Germany.

B) You have a lead capture and auto-responder system working for you on auto-pilot.

C) You send out additional videos/reviews that can be of value to them and that is when you use your affiliate links.
