WSO Image Posting Issues

Good evening, peeps!

I have a problem and have viewed a thread of a similar problem. However, it didn't quite hit on what I needed to know.

I plan on launching a WSO pretty soon and my sales page is sliced up. I posted an image on here before using Photobucket, but the image was wider than the thread. I saw in the related thread where someone mentioned using Amazon S3...I signed up and have no idea where to begin/don't understand how it works because it looks complicated (do you upload the images somehow, which I don't know how to do, and then a code is generated???).

So, for the WSO image-posters, what do you use to host your images, that allows you to control/adjust the width? (I could've overlooked something in this thread, other than the Amazon S3 suggestion, but I want something simple that works. Or, can someone tell me how to use Amazon S3 for WSO purposes :confused

Thanks

I use Amazon S3 to host all my images including those in my WSO threads. However an image hosting service will not control the width of your images. That's something you do when you create the images. The best width for WSO's is around the 750 pixel mark as that will fill out the entire width of the thread without making it stretch.

As for using Amazon S3, there can be a small learning curve when first settings things up but there are plenty of free videos available on Youtube that will walk you through the simple setup. Once you have your account setup you simply upload your images using a free program such as Cloudberry.

S3 Software | Free Amazon S3 Browser For Windows - CloudBerry Lab

Get that program, it will make things so much easier for you.

Once your images have been uploaded it is then just a matter of getting your new Amazon S3 image urls and pasting them into your WSO thread using the image tags.

To be exact...I use 731px in my WFH thread and it comes out perfect. It's also what I'm using in my WSO and it looks fine in the preview.

Initially I wasn't going to mess with either, but then I saw the advantages, so I'm going to start with JVZoo and see how that goes...
