    What network are you using?

Typically you would create many hugely different banners.

Then pick the 1 that has the highest CTR and then variations of that banner.

Ultimately you keep chipping it down to the highest converting banner.

Install OpenX and import your banners, creating a channel. Then incorporate the banner code on your website or wherever you want the banners to show. Works for banner membership sites and banner exchanges.

OpenX will rotate the banners in the channel and log impressions and click through.

I don't know if my answer will fit to what you are looking (maybe you ask for a software to get stats fro a split test?) but in case you like to check if they convert, try

    Project Wonderful makes advertising awesome!

That's a low cost way to place your banners in front of visitors on sites with good to great traffic (volume wise).

You bit a price per day of exposure and if your bid is the highest, you're ad shows up.

    Maybe helps you check conversion.

You could always use Adwords content/display network, and test your banner ads from there - from advertising on their contextual network.

I think you could use Forum Banner Signature to test the effectiveness of your ads, and track the click using Bit.ly. Just search through Google to find forums that allowed free banner signature.

Also, you could use BuySellAds. It's an ads marketplace where you can find websites to put your banner ads on.

    BJ Min,

You could use ClickAppeal at ClickAppealapp.com

It's a pretty cool service I've been using to split test images like banners, buttons etc.. It also allows me to do click tacking and goal tracking so I know which image led to a sale.

Takes like 2 minutes to setup. WAY EASIER then Google Website Optimizer or Optimizely that forces you to split an entire web page.

    Hope it helps.
