How to turn my traffic into cash.

I've been using Squidoo.com a little over four months now and I can be expecting to get $200+ dollars next month from being in the top tiers. My lenses are made around Minecraft, a very popular PC game, and they have been steadily doing great for me. I get around 1,500 give or take uniques a day.

I have tried branching out and creating websites based around my lenses, only to be losing a profit and not gaining much of anything. The question is what can I do to turn this traffic into cash in my pocket. Any tips?:confused:

    You have few options. Add amazon,ebay on your squidoo lense. You can also make a review of some clickbank product and send your visitor to clickbank offer and get a commissions.

      Thanks for the quick reply.
      I tried selling products based around the general "niche" of minecraft, such as stickers, posters, t-shirts. None of them sold and I believe I still have them there. The past couple months I have been working on the lenses nothing has really sold. I have found that Squidoo is great for getting traffic though. Should I focus on building more lenses around the general niche or optimizing the traffic that I have now to maximize my profit?

        Hello,

        The first 3 options for you are: clickbank, amazon and ebay.
        But the secret is: try to target some products that are matching as close as it can to you lenses.

    How about promoting a guide that teach people about Minecraft? Such offer will convert well with your traffic. I think you can find such guide through Clickbank.

    Another option:
    sell minecraft items to your traffic.

      Really like that idea. Or I could offer my own ebook on Minecraft tips and tricks for free if they sign-up for a mailing list, then promot amazon products through the mailing list? Does that sound like an idea worth trying?

    This can be because your audience is mostly teenagers who are often unable to pay. Think of what you could offer them that they can afford or change your product to target older age groups (25 years+)

    Check out the demographics of your market and this will help you with your monetization strategy. If the are young they will be unable to buy, adsense will work in this situation however.

    I have.a similar site with great traffic but poor sales conversion but it does earn well in adsense
