Warrior Forum Search Tip

Hi All,

I often see questions asked that relate to the same topic. Instead of waiting for an answer, you can do the following via a Google search.

Just input in the search box:

*topic* site:warriorforum.com

ABOVE: Topic = what you want to search. Omit the *s.

or

search_phrase site:warriorforum.com

ABOVE: search_phrase = Any set of key words, a name, phrase, etc.

In either case, there is a space *before* the word "site:"

Performing such a search is a very nice way to make a swap file or a to-do list to finish a project --with a wealth of information you'll find an answer to most questions.

Just an idea that I often use.
Success,
Sam

Great tip Sam, I often use this myself. Google seems to work much better compared to the search function here.

Also, since the search function has been disabled for the old forum, you can use this to browse the old archives:

    *topic* site:warriorforum.com/forum
    Signature

Great idea Sam, I hadn't thought of that one. I'll be using this in the near future.

Yes, thanks for the great tip. I have definitely found the forum search to be weak. For example, trying to search for "SEO" will give you an error because it is too short.
