I want to know how can I promote a classified website. What are the free methods available to me to promote a classified website?

      I am going to create a niche based classified site by using free templates available. But don't know how to promote it...

        if you do not know how to promote an advertising site then why do it ?

    I think the best way to get the word out for your classified site is by using SEO.

    1. Fill your classified site with contents
    2. Write the contents by yourself, but using different fake accounts.
    So visitors can see that your classified site is active and have "life"
    3. After you fill the sites with contents and fake users, boost the SEO of your sites to get the traffic.

    Most successful classified site that I know, become big because of the SEO.
