If you had to do it over again...?
This is mostly for people who've been doing this for a while 1+ years and have some success and can look back on some history.
So the question is what would you do differently today if you had to do it all over again from scratch?
I would have focused more on building relationships, traffic referral networks, and of course, most importantly, building a list and cultivating a strong relationship with that list.
I think where the really big money comes to those who are willing to build a brand, an identity, and a relationship with their audience. Of course you need to know your market and know how you can monetize it properly at the same time.
So for me, its would be more about doing proper market research into something I enjoy reading/talking about. Then making sure I can monetize correctly. Then start building a list/brand/identity.
Yup, I wouldn't get into SEO, PPC, or other stuff. I'm talking about starting out. Of course, once you have experience, I think these strategies are great, you just need the right resources to maximize their benefit.
