I would say, you need to answer some questions before you begin, which will give you more clarity in your business.

1. Why I want my own online business?

2. There are hundreds and thousands of opportunities are there, what should be my strategy to stand out of the crowd?

3.What talents, interests, skill and strength do I've that will assist me in running my new business.

4. What are my strengs and weaknesses?

If possible write down the answers in detail, that might save you lots of money and time. All the best.

sdas86, I would recommend you to go to the Warriors For Hire section, filter those services to Programmers or Webmasters, and see how our fellow Internet Marketers do/operate their businesses. You don't need to spend a dime to learn the most part of what you're trying to accomplish.

You'll surely learn a lot from them. Combine their best practices and let that combined knowledge be part of your business model. The easiest way to learn things is by observing how others are doing it. Then find ways to become a better one.

Just swapping to IM doesn't guarantee cash but you could start off offering wordpress set up, site set etc.. on Fiverr?

You don't need any money to get started - you need to be able to offer something in demand.

Well, I see that you have a lot of advise I would say, the best way to start is to try and promote something of value for free and get people on your list... since you already have hosting, use $1 for an Aweber account at Email Marketing Software & Email Marketing Services from AWeber. Then setup a highly converting squeeze page, and drive traffic to your squeeze page... once you have your list, you will not look back

I agree with contentwriting360. It sounds like you have some skills to offer so on top of posting an add on warriors for hire section I would write a good profile, include a nice pic of yourself and sign up to:

You could also purchase a reseller hosting account and offer hosting and site management as an up sell to clients who you build sites for.

Building on that you could design a done for you membership site package and advertise it on warrior classifieds.

Best thing about this system is if you work hard you'll see some return very quickly!

You can sell them your valueable product or educate them anytime as they already subscribe to you.

I go with all those points and would add:

blogging in itself can become internet marketing. what is your passion? what do you love to blog about? Write more posts on these ideas and become an authority site is your particularly niche. Integrate seo and social media networking and you are good to go. Look for the best monetization method for you site and make some money out of blogging.

If you're starting your quest to become a marketer, and the first thing you think to do is spend money on it, you're not in the right mindset. You're still in "buyer" mode and not "seller" mode. Keep your money. Figure out what you want to sell. If it's information, figure out where to find info people buy, or generate your own. If it's service, figure out how to do something useful that you can sell for less than cost. If it's advice, learn how to give good advice on your topic and go about networking and getting connected in your niche. There's nothing to buy unless you know what you want to do.

This is what I would have done with 100$. It is pretty simple and you may get it done with 50$ too.

1) Find a low competition buyer keyword with atleaset 2000 excat searches.
2) Build a free blogspot around it, with 9-10 quality articles.
3) Hire some good people at 'Warriors for hire' section to get done your backlinks.
4) Wait for your blog to rise up the search engine.
5) Collect money, that's pretty much it.

I have successfully implemented this method to build sites that makes me 300-400$ each month without much of hardwork.

I think what you should do is to have a thorough research first on your niche and plan before you execute

Good points in here. I would have to say become an opportunist and seek out opportunity in any manner you can. Anything you do throughout the course of the day, ESPECIALLY problems or issues that arise, you should be thinking about the fact that other people have those problems too.

Think about what solutions are available. Consider how you can provide a solution.

On the topic of opportunity seeking, you should immediately go to microsoft and apply for their FREE limited time $300 PPC voucher. Good till July 15th I believe.

That will give you $300 to play around with PPC.

So when you DO make a website/business, its just another OPPORTUNITY you have to promote it.

If that was my $100, I wouldn't spend it yet. I'd first be thinking about WHAT I want to get involved in. Last time I did this it took me 3 weeks of market/keyword research before I even bought a domain.

But if you're not doing that research yet, and are just busy looking for someone to tell you "this niche is good" you're never going to believe them. Not untill you know for yourself what is good and what isn't.

Thats why I research first, ask questions second, then immediately take action.
One more thing I realized is a lot of people simply don't know the answers to your questions, and will speculate causing you further confusion.

Like I came on here asking about a niche noone knew about, noone could really tell me whether it was good. So it wasn't till I set my site up and my ebook began selling that I realized it was GOOD.

Just another reason why taking action trumps any question you can ask. Well most questions.

FIND SOMETHING GOOD AND JUST STICK TO IT!!
Really do your research to convince yourself it IS in fact good and you have research to back that fact up. Otherwise if you get into something you're only 60% sure is good, that will kill your motivation in sticking with it long term. Thats just my opinion.

However, analyzing/researching things can quickly become your #1 roadblock to success if you don't know how to organize your life/goals. So always make sure you strive for some sort of balance between research AND application. Finally, REALIZE that application is often your BEST form of research. Many people don't seem to really understand that one basic principle.

You're gonna need wayy more money than $100. That's just enough to do a "test" campaign with Google Adwords or Microsoft Adcenter.

Some nice advice here. I'll add one more. STICK to one thing. Imers make the mistake of doing too many things and end up making no money at all.

Well if I were you I'd start a site up for under $40 using Wordpress. Make it a niche site, the niche being something you are passionate about and that you have a lot of knowledge in. Then focus on using the site for affiliate marketing for products in that niche. The rest of the money can either go towards promoting the forum via PPC, Outsourcing etc... Or maybe even graphics for your site.

I would take $37 and purchase a War Room membership -- and spend a week learning ONE METHOD and stick to it and ask for help in the War Room...but STICK TO ONE METHOD at first...Good luck!

If you already know how to blog, then you're half-way there. Ask SPECIFIC questions on this forum about keyword analysis and monetization, so you can choose a blog subject which will make you good MONEY.

From my experience, Amazon can be a great method, but the best approach is writing specific product reports (summarising real customer's experiences), so it's not like normal blogging.

For a more typical blogging approach, have a look at CPA offers (See Affiliate Marketing - Find the Best Affiliate Programs and CPA Offers from OfferVault to search them all), and find ones which are suitable to fit into a good blog.

If you have good knowledge in a certain niche, then buying a domain and webhosting should be able to start it off. It probably costs less than $30. After which, get a free Wordpress template and start posting articles.

With a hundred bucks as initial capital, you can set up a couple of websites and kick-off your business. Go to Fiverr and use some services for backlinking and advertising. Good Luck

There are loads of wso's that give you enough value to get you going on the right for great value. I used a system that cost me $20 to join when I first started and then once I started earning a good income I invested in a mentor for $5000

Wow, and it seems like you already have enough capital and investment to start a new business with a full-time income.

There are so many products for free to show you how to start but having a mentor to keep you motivated will put you miles ahead of the game.

I just wrote a 4 week quick start planning tool that you could hjave a look at (its free) it will show you what to do although its not in any detail - just the steps to take.

Really all you need to spend your money on is a website ($10), hosting($40 per year) for your website and an autoresponder ($150+ per year). Just get your website and hosting first and then earn enough to get your autoresponder.

When I first started out I didn't spend anything that I hadn't earnt - so I did surveys to earn enough to get my website and hosting and carried on from there. It you stick to that then you will never be out of pocket!

One method you could do is building a list and selling ClickBank products as an affiliate.

Here is a basic plan of action; it is vastly simplified and not perfect but it works:

1. Buy domain and hosting (~$20)

2. Register Autoresponder ($1 first month)

3. Get a free squeeze page, "Thank you" page and "Download" page or create simple ones myself

4. Choose a niche and create a short report on topic I will be giving as a gift on my squeeze page

5. Create new list and opt-in form in autoresponder and connect opt-in form to the squeeze page

6. Write squeeze page copy based on the report

7. Go to ClickBank and find several good products in my niche I could promote

8. Set one product as OTO on "Thank you" page, write email copy for the rest and enter them into autoresponder sequence

9. With ~$80 left, buy solo ad for about 200-250 clicks

10. Drive more traffic with whatever free methods and use any ClickBank earnings to buy more traffic
