how often is an amazon item searched in google?

Can anyone tell me a tool to use to figure out how often a certain amazon item is searched for in Google? I have tried using the free google keyword tool and it is not returning any data at all on my keyword. I have a feeling the item IS searched alot though as it has a lot of reviews. any help in finding an accurate tool would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The Google keyword tool is a s close as you are going to get. That said, I make a hefty monthly income from Amazon targeting products that would show zero searches in that tool.

Do you think i can be a total ass and ask how many sites you are currently running with amazon associates and how much average monthly income you make from each? Just a noob trying to gather as much info as possible, Thanks!

google or other search engines show the stats based on the actual searches in their search engine.

The google keyword tool only show the average search based on past 12 months. If the product you are going promote is new or just trending up recently you will not be able to get an accurate data.

I don't discuss exact earnings but I can say I own maybe 10 sites in a few different niches. What I will say is that I earn 4 figures per month.

thanks. How often are you updating each one with new reviews? Are you at the point with any of them that you can just let them sit (while running a little seo on them periodically) and it brings you in a consistent income? If yes, how long did it take you to get to this point? Thanks for allowing me to pick your brain.
