My website is a blog on health and weightloss niche.
I have been driving traffic by articles submission, 7search, banner ads, twitter ads. So far I have slightly less than 200 visits and 3 opt-in.

Is this results good or bad?
What else can i do to increase the traffic?
Anywhere i can find solo ads?

Thanks

Have you thought about finding a big facebook page that is based around fitness/ health, contact the owner and create sponsored posts that link back to your website. Also,

That is very low. You should aim for at least 20% - 30% opt-in.

You have to find out why visitors are not opting in.

    Is your offer enticing?

Split test to improve conversion rate.

Perhaps you can use Exit Pop-up to capture visitors' email address before they leave.

The object of your squeeze page is to squeeze the email address out of the customer, the only way is to give away something for free of VALUE thats the most important part otherwise people wont take interest. Offer a free report, ebook, video tutorials, all on health, nutrition, exercies, etc etc....

Once you have them optin then send them to your blog so you can build your authority within that niche.

Traffic wise, there are loads of threads in this forum about traffic, but start with forum marketing it's very effective, social media, article, videos etc etc ...

main thing is sort your squeeze page out and give an offer...

Then that needs to change before you spend any more money sending traffic to it.

Hello, on your squeeze page you should offer something of value to them for FREE. Like a top 5 weight loss tips report or something? an eBook, or maybe even a course.....

This will increase your opt-in rate.....

    Obviously that is the problem.

You need to find a high quality free offer to give your visitors in exchange for their name and email address.

Don't just give anything away that is low value.

My squeeze page is not giving anything FREE.

You need to offer a free gift "of value" to your visitors. You may learn more about driving free traffic here.

good job. think I've pretty much just have to be increased again. if you have a product then you can try a solo ad because you can break even by selling your product.

You should try some SEO for longer term traffic. Right now I don't think that it would make a much difference if you go for the normal promotional methods.

I agree. I've been working on getting more traffic for my blog too and doing SEO that's gonna help my site on a long-term basis. It's more time-consuming but in the end, it'll be worth it.

Try and improve the conversion rate of your opt in - offer something of interest for free.

Then up your efforts on all the traffic methods above and get some of those articles syndicated at some top health blogs.

The key is to make your content REALLY engaging and something that offers a new slant, or something they can't find anywhere else.

If you've only been live for one week, then personally I think its great you've made the start! you've taken action and got some results! Try not to rush these things and set yourself targets! this week 200 visits, next week 300-400 and so on! look at different methods of traffic such forum posts, commenting on blogs/articles, join online groups etc!

You're off to a good start, ramp it up and keep going!

You could look for some weight loss forums that allow a link in the sig and post useful content there.

You could also do some white had blog commenting on other high traffic weight loss blogs.

Both of these can be a little labour intensive, but the traffic is extremely high quality.

Improve your content and offer and you should get a better opt in rate, then deliver good content through your emails, and send some emails promoting decent products with reviews etc so they can see the value and you should start getting somewhere.

To make improvements check out the top people in your market and what they are doing, in terms of content and how they set things out, what their offer is and how they send emails, how regular and what's in them, this should get you off in the right direction.

I use Directory of Ezines to find where to place solo ads but it is expensive, and try making improvements before sending too much traffic as you will be wasting your money.

Create a folowing on social media sites and track click through rates off that, then work out conversions when they are up then send paid traffic.

The best approach to building a responsive list is to give away a highly valuable product for free. The higher quality the gift the better. Since you aren't giving away anything, that's exactly what you need to change. Actually, if you thought that sending paid traffic to squeeze an email address out of the visitor without offering anything of value, it's not really the offer that's the problem... it's your mindset.

Thanks Wariors for the advice to the newbie, I have the same problem so I learn't from it. My sites get alot of traffic, but they don't seem to be buying. Would you warriors suggest a free consult as something of great value? I am a certified Fitness Trainer and nutrition coach. And I am trying to promote a nutritonal line. Shakes, multivitamins, natural energy drinks, e.t.c What would you suggest is a good offer. There is always the issue of losing money offering things to everyone. Your input is very much appreciated, thanks.
