Why Don't You Have A Website Online Right Now?

This is an internet marketing forum and while it is possible you are usually seriously handicapped if you don't have your own website or websites online.

I know there are many things that stop newbies and even experienced internet marketers from getting their first website online.

But it really isn't that hard.

To demonstrate what I mean if you don't have a website online right now just post the reasons here...

What problems are you having?

What's standing in your way?

And we'll see if we can help you overcome those hurdles and get yourself online.

Kindest regards,
Andrew Cavanagh

What software do you think you need?

We can save you a lot of time and give you shortcuts in this thread if you're more specific with your answers.

      Kindest regards,

      • I think you will be surprised at how easy it actually is.

One of the best ways to beat procrastination is to plan out what you need to do.

Write out what you want to do for the day.

        Register a domain

        Purchase hosting

        Set up autoresponder

        etc.

Go through the list and complete each one.

You need your own website to sell your own product. If you don't have your own product how do you expect people to pay you?

Good thread Andrew, I don't think there is any really big reason why people don't have their own website so maybe if there are a few doubts and misconceptions they can be answered here.

          Lack of knowledge...
Another reason is, other people are busy in promoting affiliate and referral links...

With me, it's lack of knowledge. But, my first website is online (and offline, I keep working). It's hard to learn, but I am willing to learn, and therefore I will succeed!
Giving up right now will be a waist of the time I put into it.

I used coffeecup to build my first site, because it's wysiwyg and code, so I figured it should be the easiest way to set up a website.

But I am open to suggestions ofcourse!

            • As far as knowledge goes I am not very technical at all. I use dreamweaver to build my sites and I have very basic knowledge in html.

By that I mean that I know you need to use the [b] tag to make it bold and thats about it haha.

So you don't need to be a technical expert to get a site up and running.
