Going to have a new blog..need suggestion

Guys.. I'm going to start a new blog. I planned to do a research before starting one. I planned two topics, 1. Marketing and 2. Reviews on any new product/item.

What do you think, which is better on the long run?

If possible please share your blog topic.

      You first need to find a profitable niche with low competition. Focus on a specific area of marketing if this is what you want. If you are going to write product reviews, choose a specific category of products.

        Agree on this one. Focus on less competitive niches, you pick the wrong niche, you won't be getting lots of traffic and make the money.

    Also...Mrsvirtualassistant: I have some experience working on hollywood gossip blog but the client closed it now. So..I think I can go for some kind of entertainment reviews...let me plan them.

    You can get yourself a specific area of marketing and setup a blog - and then for each review you are going to do, look for low competition keywords and make a page targeting these.

    After a while your blog should start getting some stats that you can look at and see how you can improve conversions. Once you have conversions starting to occur you might want to try some other traffic sources apart from just organic search.
