Motivation For Sucess

I see a lot of people on here focusing on the particulars. So much so that they essentially are paralyzed and don't actually do any work. A lot of us call this information overload.

I call this being lazy. God knows I've been lazy myself, and its cost me hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. I'm here to tell you. Stop being lazy.

Start today with the idea that you will seize your goals. Start today knowing that you may not make a damn dime, yet you continue onward--because you will eventually start making money soon enough.

Those who can strive to survive (cliche? lol) will achieve the greatness they dream of.

Make connections. Talk to other marketers. Create synergy if you can. Develop relationships that will last a lifetime. Some people call this hustle.

Step out of your element today. Learn something new! Take on a new challenge. Call up a few businesses and sell your services! What's the worst that could happen? They either tell you NO or they say, I'm interested--lets meet up and talk about this more!

Reach out to more affiliate managers. Tell them about your great idea. How its new and different.

But for the sake of your online business, don't just sit here, reading this post and think that you need to do more research. It's time to jump into the water and see if you can sink or swim!

Happy Marketing everyone!

You chose the wrong word for your headline.

We cannot "motivate" people who lack the drive to make things happen in their own lives.

...as many a parent has discovered.

At any rate, trying to motivate someone who needs a quick return by telling them to just stick with it, the rewards will come eventually is probably not going to work.

Perhaps showing them how to achieve a quick return would be more effective. If they don't follow through on that, it's on their own heads and clearly they're either going to be a failure or go into politics.

I guess my post wasn't meant for the dreamers, but rather the doers. Those that woke up today looking for the next opportunity, even though the current one was paying healthy dividends.

If my time in sales taught me anything, it is that you always need to chase the elusive carrot. It's what makes the ambitious... well ambitious!

I for one am always looking to broaden my horizons, and deepen my networking group (which I consider you part of, even though I haven't spoken to you directly for some time).

As always, love the posts Bill!

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

      Hi Bill,

There is something that drives everyone forward. Sure that you know that. That something is the answer to the following question:

What Is In It For Me?

You can motivate people if you are helping them to find their answer to that question. It helps if you are visualizing his/her current situation to that particular person, after that you are making perceptible a better one he/she can reach.

That process was often successful for me when I had to motivate the members of my salesgroup. Of course, to be effective, you need to know your people well.

      Cheers,

      Sandor

    I really like this words.

Mark Zuckerberg once said: "You need to start somewhere..."

People need to stop dreaming and do something. Start somewhere...
If you want to create your own website, but didn't know how to make it...
Start asking people, start reading, start buying the domain even you still didn't know how to make the site. Just do something even it's just a small step toward your dream. This small step will lead you to another small step.

Just look at Andrew Mason, the founder of Groupon. He started Groupon with just a simple Wordpress blog, not with hundreds of thousands dollar technology. He start something, he start somewhere.

My method is simple. Adapt or die. Since most people want to live adaptation is the only choice.

Motivation is something that for me comes and goes on a regular basis.

It's the same for everything in my life, MMA training, IM'ing, surfing.. I really need to work on sticking to one thing and working it to death.

Motivation is a fairly personal thing. One sort of motivation may work for one but may not work for another.
Painting groups of people with the same brush is a bit like saying anyone who is fat is because they eat pizza.
Your own experiences, mind set and current circumstances all contribute to what will motivate you right now.

Fear can ether paralize you or motivate you to action. We all struggle with doing things outside our comfort zone. This 'fear of the unknown' or 'fear of failure' will always be there.

You HAVE to overcome it! There are no other options.

Let your fear motivate you to ACTION. Keep moving forward!

Can't make some mules drink, and you can't motivate lazy folk. Some people are really destined for greatness and others... they're destined to $7.25/hour.
