Paid Traffic - Where is the best place to learn it?

I just did a search and there are plenty of threads on what paid traffic source to use what is working for people ect.. is there a site where I can learn about paid traffic? Or is it better to learn it yourself? I know that if you do this wrong it can cost you. I know this.

I have made some money but SEO is taking way to long to kick in to see results..I have been using free methods. these sales are re-accurring.

what paid traffic site is best to start with? Not Adwords.. I know adwords is very strict.. I have looked at a few like adready and contextweb but I am unsure of how paid traffic works.. Can someone help? thanks..

There are so many courses out their right now I would have no idea which one is the best.. I'm gone slightly beyond the learning fase of PPC but still buy the odd shiney new course every now and again..

If you decide to go with adwords make sure you are doing content network PPC and not search PPC as this is a lot more profitable - for me anyway..

    Best of luck mate,

You can try ppv traffic, but that is also very volatile. You will not find many quality paid traffic sources after adwords, so you may just have to deal with their TOS.

If you have money to throw around there are some good courses on PPV traffic.

One suggestion is to work for someone else to get started.

You can get a lot of exposure in the industry and have a budget way bigger than anything you'd have on your own.

Also, when I was learning copywriting it helped a lot to "isolate the variable." I worked for a company on retainer and did nothing but copywriting. I didn't have to worry about traffic, customer support, hiring/firing - nothing.

And it let me get good at copywriting.

The good news is solid media buyers are always in demand

    Good luck,
    JMJ -Lance

Traffickblackbook by chad hamzeh is the best place to learn about paid traffic. He will teach you everything you need to know about buying traffic via various mediums. Highly recommended.

You can use the search button to look for this WSO.

Adwords is just one part of Paid Traffic. There are so many more: Media Buys, PPV, Pay Per Text, etc.

You should test each method to see which one brings the most ROI for your niche and then go from there.

I personally love what Gauher Chaudry's teaching about paid traffic.

Choose one, any one and master it. They are all different. No one place to learn all. And no one will teach as good as experience. And stories about people loosing a lot are just that stories. All platforms have daily budgets. Set a budget $10 and you wont loose more than that a day.

I was going to move away from free mehods and just get a squeeze page up and drive traffic to it.. or should I build a niche site around a clickbank product and drive paid traffic to that..

I know PPV is cheaper but what gets better conversions PPV or PPC? I guess the best way to learn is sign up and do it..

Consider Microsoft Adcenter instead of Adwords. You'll get good traffic here. Also consider purchasing ads from blogs in your niche. Use a blog directory like Blogarama to find some. Advertise on high traffic websites in your niche. And also consider solo ads.

The best way is to get testing and make mistakes. Your gonna lose money, don't be fooled. But those loses will teach you faster than trying NOT to fail and looking for the secret trick.

There is no trick, chose your method and go hard. Don't get bogged down with the detail.

Personally I've found the more testing I do, the "luckier" I become :b

A lot of people say PPC. Although if you don't know what you're doing you can lose a lot of money.

If you want to go the paid route then I've heard several people have great success with banner ads in forums.

However, I'll always stick to free as I don't like losing money.
