Take Massive Action FAST!! Or Not...

According to Lonely Planet, this picture is the "winding mountain road leading to Machu Picchu."

Imagine sitting in a car at one of the curves in this road...

Imagine thinking about the fastest way down the mountain...

Do you want to put the car in drive and floor the gas? Or, would you rather safely navigate the corners to the bottom of the mountain?

See, people are asked to make choices like these every day on this forum.

Select Option A to get somewhere really fast (over the cliff), or select Option B and take the slow and steady path to your destination.

Folks, what we are doing here is called a business. And often, the surest way to reach our destination of running a successful business is slow, steady and with a clear plan of how to navigate the challenges ahead.

Of course, there is something to be said for "taking massive action fast," as long as your path doesn't potentially include dangerous turns in the road.

I think when it comes to the types who just read, and talk, and then read some more, they sometimes do need to be told to get off their butts and take action. So, the concept of "taking massive action" can be a good thing at times, just as it can be a bad thing. Spending a significant amount of your time doing instead of not doing - good, and necessary. Rushing through things at breakneck speed without adequate foresight - bad, and you may find yourself regretting your approach as you hurtle down the mountain.

If only the path to success were that clear, I think many more would follow it despite all the twists.

The problem with becoming successful is that often times you come around a corner and the path is just completely gone.

At that point, we each have to forge our own path for a bit until we get to the next section of cleared road with an obvious path to follow.

Those gaps in the path are what separate the men from the boys on the road to building a successful business.

Yes, taking massive actions is the ways to business success.
    Provided below criteria are met.
    1. Have an effective business model and marketing channel laid out before you start to promote.
    2. Follow a niche expert in your field with proven system to achieve your financial goals.
(It will save your time on 'hitting the wall', redirect your focus on traffic generation)

    enjoy

How do people know which niche expert to follow?

Thank you for that timely post, Bill!

It's so refreshing to see people giving advice on taking proper educated action rather than just shouting take action, and leading them over the edge of a cliff!

"Take MASSIVE ACTION Fast" works great - if you happen to pick the right action. Without some prior steps, that's like taking your entire paycheck into a casino, marching up to the roulette wheel, and putting the whole bankroll on 00. If 00 comes up, you have an instant 40x ROI. Anything else, and, like Lucy, you "got some 'splainin' to do" when you get home.

            Here's a better plan...

            > Take a small action, fast. Note the result.
            > If positive, repeat to see if the first result was a fluke. If negative, pick another small action.
            > Once an action has been positive long enough to rule out a fluke, start scaling up. Don't forget to keep trying new small actions as well.

Doing things this way doesn't lead to "massive action" - it leads to massive momentum.

              Congratulations, Bill.

I couldn't have sworn my title would have had more than 80 clicks.

Maybe it would have got more if it was in the WSO section.

              I admit defeat.

That's not cheating; just great marketing.

I have much to learn, lol.

Being a simple kind of guy, it seems to me that something is missing here such as effective planning. The road is long, and it's an arduous and hazardous drive. You are not even allowed to drive along some parts of it.

Hint for taking massive action fast: just take a train from Macchu Picchu down to Cuzco; it's less than 4 hours. The tracks are clearly laid out for you by those who have gone before.

Or if you think outside the box you can rent a little airplane and parachute out, landing smack bang in the middle of Macchu Picchu in 5 mins.

Love the picture. I see over and over again that people want to get it perfect before rolling something out. I say just get it going and I mean a whole bunch going. Once you see what works, go with that . Sort of the old Soviet battle technique - send out three four units against an enemy, see which one has success and send all the reinforcements to that one. Forget about the rest.

It's just really amazing to think that there are Warriors who care to share inspiring illustrations and thoughts that motivate a fellow Warrior to do better each day.

Just like the picture Bill posted, the road may signify our thought of action plans in our journey towards achieving greater heights of success in our respective businesses. But sometimes, we feel like we want to 'park' for a while and re-think our thoughts if we're truly going towards the right direction. Sometimes, we even think of looking for that 'U-Turn' signage. For some good reasons, we don't find those 'U-Turn' signs because we're just 10 meters away to our destination.

Sometimes, we do realize that all it takes is only a good grip on the steering wheel and a steady step on the gas.

Great reminder for me. I guess many of us want instant success, the easy way out but then, the easy, fastest way might not be most effective..

IM is a REAL business and should be treated with care, time and money.

Take the massive RIGHT actions FTW!
