Trying to find Work from Home

Hi everyone,

I am just starting out with the affiliate thing and I am not sure of how to do this. I am one of those people who need step by step instructions, so I am trying to gather as much information as possible to help me along the way. I have literally spent thousands of dollars over the last 15 years on one scam or another. Nothing worked for me. So I decided that I might like to try being an affiliate. I don't know if it will work or not, but I have to do something. I work 2 jobs to make ends meet after a divorce where I got nothing. I had to start over. I bought a house and everything that goes in the house right down to spoons and the other little things which put me in debt approximately 120,000 dollars. Sorry, didn't mean to go on there, but anyway any information anyone can give me about honest work at home opportunities would be really appreciated. Thanks to everyone in advance.

  • affiliate marketing is certainly not a scam.. plenty of us here make money with it. You have to be willing to fail though, and to test and try different things.

you might want to read the rules regarding your sig file..

    • Commission Blueprint (do a Google search on it and you'll find it no problem) is a good "all in one" course showing you every step of the process of selling affiliate products through Clickbank.

It's not an easy approach, and it's not a get rich quick scheme, but it's good solid advice.
    • Removed the sig line, thanks

  • To avoid getting into trouble, you're probably going to want to change your signature first.

Rule number 5 of the forum is:

Next, not everything that doesn't work for you is a scam. The reason I mention this is that some people have thrown the word scam around a lot over just about everything. Since I don't know what programs/efforts/etc you have tried, I don't know how many of the things you've encountered are in fact scams. You may have had an unfortunate tendency to land on a bunch of scams.

To help you best, we would need to know a little bit.
What resources do you have at your disposal? i.e. do you have a website, a blog, a domain, etc?

What skills do you feel you have? Can you write articles? Can you create good graphics? etc.?

How much time can you invest in your efforts?

All these things can make helping you a lot easier, because we can then have an idea what might work better for you.

  • Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money - but if you are completely new it is difficult to just jump in a make consistent cash right away. At least it took me several months in order to build up a consistent income.

Also there are different methods of getting there so you'll have to figure out what works best for you.
  • Find a mentor. Someone who will walk you thru every step and figure out what niche in IM you should begin with.

  • Affiliate marketing is a great way to get started. Have a look at my site for some pointers.

I also have to highly recommend Jeremy and Don's Bootcamp program. It is really good stuff. (look for Jeremy Kelsall's WSO - I think it's still running)
