Genesis Framework: Worth It?

I'm entering into a segment of my career where I may be building many websites for different kinds of clients and was wondering if anyone had experience with the Genesis Frameworks and it's various themes.

I'm leaning towards buying the framework and all themes for $350 but was curious if anyone could relay any experiences using the products.

    I use one of the Genesis Framework child themes on my main IM blog and I love it. It is very easy to customize and this child theme is responsive and looks great on smartphones and tablets.

    We use the Genesis framework and child themes on most client sites and many other web design companies I know do the same (low to medium priced sites). It is very good but not perfect. Their child themes are somewhat restricting but overall I would recommend it.

    It is a wise decision if you plan on providing support (upgrades etc.) to your client for years to come.

    I have been using Genesis & child themes and very happy with it. However, I have been reevaluating WP themes and would add that while Genesis themes are really excellently designed, you need to be a designer, i.e. know how to modify CSS files, in order to make even the simplest of changes to the theme (Even just some colors).

    I think they are best for "classical" web sites - but I am leaning heavily towards Optimize Press for my future IM sites.

    Anyone have experience with Elegant themes?

    I use the Genesis themes on a lot of my sites now and they are superb. They are very flexible, look fantastic and you can easily create some great looking sites.

    Be prepared for some fiddling around to get it looking how you want, but if you will stick to it you can make top notch looking sites that don't look like they were built on Wordpress.

    You'll enjoy using the theme and find that it will help you create some great looking sites for your clients.

    I've gotten a ton of use out of the Genesis framework.

    I agree with Jason, it's super flexible and the end results always look great.
