99.9% will get it and do nothing

Just wanted to throw something out their that I learnt a few weeks ago from some of the most successful people in the UK, the difference between success and failure was so close it was scary. They went on to point out that most people will live their lives from the stand but not actually get on the court and do whats needed.

How does that relate to the IM market, every one who is trying to make money is running around trying to find the one click does it all solution or they hope a $12 wso is going to make them millions. Here is the truth, and yes it might upset a lot of people, you fail in your life, your fail at your job /relationships and for some reason you think your going to make money on the internet. wow talk about living in the clouds.

Like most things in life you try, you try that little hard and then you give up because its not your thing, or your not good enough or its every ones fault apart from your own.

So how do you get out of this circle of failure, your develop grit (no I do not mean dirt/mud etc lol) I mean the old fashion way of thinking, yes you got it.... hard work, stop trying to take the easy way out, life is not meant to be easy. So stop being a spectator in your own life get on to the court and live your life and make some day.. today (referring to the hoppers that live in the hope that some day one day it will all work out).

Truth is, when it comes right down to it, many people are very comfortable being the spectator. (Who, then, would watch the game?) Some are afraid of playing. Some don't want the responsibilities (I have actually heard this). Some don't even want to spend enough time to figure out what they want to do, much less how to do it. Floating down the slow river to nowhere is really where many want to be.

All that's ok. People are different. We all can't be janitors or astronauts or doctors or waiters.

It's not enough to want it... you have to want it enough.

Found an interesting blog (& book) the other day.. 21 Questions For 21 Millionaires.

The guy got tired of doing courses, reading books and following gurus, while trying (and failing) to get rich. In the end he went out and found 21 millionaires, then interviewed them for his book.

Turns out the one 'secret' that they all had in common was HARD WORK.

Before you do ANYTHING else in your day - do at least ONE thing that brings money into your business.

I can't help but wonder how much money he made from that book. Piggybacking on the expertise of those who have been there and done that is not a new approach, but it certainly seems to work well.

Is that not the idea? Don't reinvent the wheel, just make it your own???!

you're absolutely right and I agree completely...it just requires hard work and dedication - an old-fashioned roll of the sleeves and just plain getting deep and dirty in whatever you're trying to achieve, not just in IM - life in general.

Very true, the difference is those who get hit and get back up and those that don't!
