So it looks like I will have some money to invest in IM..

Truth be told I would love to be working for myself but now that I will have some income I can invest a little into my business...

My site that I have is demodecticmangetreatment.com/

What type of traffic would warriors suggest to try to make some affiliate sales.

I just want to make it in this games I feel like a let down since I know a lot and have been learning for 5 years but havent made a passive income like I should have already...

The answer you're looking for is "every type of traffic." There's really no way of knowing what method/combination of methods is going to produce results for your specific offer without trying them.

I also recommend trying each method repeatedly. If your first set of YouTube videos doesn't work, make some changes and keep trying. The same goes for every other potential traffic source.

It's work, but it's the kind of work that turns into passive income, which is what you're after.

Your right, Im just wondering what would be the smartest traffic sources to spend about $50 on to test conversion rates and build a list..

Like Jon said experiment with all different sources of traffic and for the love of god please don't just rely on one source! Have a wide range of various traffic streams, focus on building them together and split test thoroughly. The slightest changes could make all the difference.

Your right Jimbo believe it or not I felt I was getting close to being able to decide or not if my niche was profitable, I was working on backlinks and creating content to get to page 1 of google for my search term and I got there,,

Then that crazy penguin update detoured all my traffic away and now Im left with a site with no traffic and me being back to square one so Im thinking of giving it another shot with this site my paying for targetted traffic and seeing the results...

Ah, the investment you're talking about is paying for advertising, and the traffic you're talking about is paid traffic. I get it now (there are other forms of investment and traffic, just to explain my failure to understand.)

Honestly, I wouldn't try to talk you out of giving it a shot with paid traffic. A $50 spend might tell you something, and it might not. But for the love of all that is holy, please go after the free traffic as well. You can test and tweak that as much as you want without losing your paycheck.

Thanks for your suggestion, so you think videos, articles, forums & document sharing traffic can help... just a few off the top of my head.

All of the above and more. Every single method you mentioned is working for a lot of people. They won't all work for you, but some of them will, especially with repeated attempts at each.

If there is a market, there is money to be made. What other traffic sources are you currently utilising? Social? Video? PPC?

Sounds like Google messed a lot of people up recently, Lucky I don't rely on them for my traffic

Ever thought about trying some 2nd tier PPC networks? Low bids and driving them to your page? I've had some success with this.

Sure. Have a look at networks like Bidvertiser, Adclickmedia, Clicksor, 7Search etc. There are LOADS out there to choose from.

There is a lot of trail & error and split testing involved, much like anything to do with internet marketing.

Choose your keywords like any other PPC campaign, bid amount and so on. If you do it right you can find some nice targeted traffic for your offer/squeeze page/landing page.

$50 is not a huge amount, but if you research and learn what to do before hand, then you could find out some valuable information about your site/niche.

Paid traffic like this can be good, but as mentioned above, it takes a lot of testing. You'll be lucky if it converts initially. Still, if you an make it work, it's great.

essex, thanks for your post, I too was proceeding down the Google SEO path and am on Page 1 of google 3 weeks down the line, but, as you have pointed out, this is a risky strategy so I think I will diversify into videos etc!
