Blog site or Blog on the back end?

Hoping to get some good advice from warriors!

Some folk have a complete blog site and others have a blog on the back end, which do you all suggest? Great home/landing page and blog on the back end or blog with landing/squeeze page on the back end?

Both seem to be successful folks, just wanted your take. Thanks in advance for your advice!

There is no right or wrong answer on this. It's really just a matter of preference and what you think will work best in your situation.

For example, if you have a website with several pages of static content that you want to always keep front and center, then the blog would probably be on the back end.

If you have a website with new content being added on a regular basis which you want to keep front and center, that essentially is a blog.

Of course, even in the former situation, you can use a blogging platform such as Wordpress to build the site.

Thanks for the info, that being said, I would assume a blog on the back end, such as a wordpress site can bring just as much traffic in as if on the front end?
