Can you put the same article onto different blogs?

yes you can...you can send that same article to ezines, and ezine publsihers...and you dont have to rewrite it. If you wrote it.

Another thing to keep in mind if you use open source content or PLR articles...

If you take a piece of an article you read or a PLR resource, and add a paragraph at the front and one at the end...it will still rank and do well in Google...its called content curation...

Case in point...thats what bloggers do, twitter, pintrest, answer sites and every other form of micro-blogging and writing these days...

If it is a quote from open source, link to it. and expand on the idea of the part you quoted

If it is PLR take one paragraph and expand upon it...dont post the entire article...turn one article into 2-4 new articles...

If it is your own article...

• send it to your own blog...wait 1-3 days for it to index on your blog first
• then send it to ezine site, another blog, to other ezine publishers

Once you index it on your site, you can market and send it where ever you want too,,,

Yes, or you can re purpose the same article for different platforms for back linking and traffic:

* Convert the article on audio and submit it as a podcast
* Convert the article on a PDF and send it to Scribd and PDF sharing services.
* Convert the article on a PowerPoint presentation and submit it to PP sharing services.
* Convert the Powerpoint into a video adding music and submit it on YouTube and other video platforms.

Bad idea.. Black hat spam in my opinion. I would say no way! because Google is making changes 24/7 and it's only a mater of time quick fixes will be completely closed off! If you can write multiple articles pay someone to do it for you! I spend $1 per article.. very low price and it's best for quality new information.

Can you? Sure! You can do whatever you want on your own sites. Ahh the freedom of the interwebs

But would you want to? How would you feel if you Google'd something and went to a few sites on the subject you searched for and found that the content on each page is EXACTLY the same? Forget the fact that Google won't like duplicate content... forget that you could article spin to "trick" Google... forget putting out crap. Just look at it from the customers point-of-view and I think you'll be able to answer your own question easily. Again: How would YOU feel finding duplicate content on different sites listed in a search result page on Google? Would you be frustrated? Feel cheated? Make sure you never visit those sites again? Possibly...

Edit: Rather than just copy-pasting the article... why not write a small summary of the article on your new site and link back to your old site with the full article?

Brian, no offense, but i don't think you get it, i think there are cases for your point in that if you have two sites that get the same visitors, of course, why post the same content on two sites... But if there are different articles on both, and you write an article and that would be valuable to people who may read the other site, then of course, post it.

Here's how this whole "duplicate content" thing works... Sorry to get on a soapbox, but this is such an annoying misunderstanding. Mike and Alex i'm sure already understand...

Duplicate content = the same pages with the same labeling on the same site...

In terms of having your content in multiple places on the web, there is TREMENDOUS benefit to doing that.

VERY SIMPLY... If you have site X, which has an audience of people, and you post the same piece of content that you have on your blpg already, then you just had a whole new audience read your blog, and potentially come back to your site to learn more about you or subscribe/etc.

Yes, there will usually only be ONE of those posts that get indexed, and it will probably be either the first indexed, or the site with more authority.

In terms of users feeling cheated... Obviously you understand that's a non issue and doesn't apply. And now that we know what duplicate content means, and how it relates to this situation, the issue should be cleared up.

Sorry to preach, but lots of misinformation going on, and that's no good.
