Monetize This for Free!

I just came across two excellent domain names and bought them right away! I'm not trying to promote it b/c there isn't even a site up yet for these domains.

The domains are:
internetmarketingkid dot com
internetmarketinggift dot com

Great name huh?

Anyone have any thoughts about how to monetize this domain?

What would you do with this domain name??? Feedback is VERY much appreciated.

Thanks!

A domain name's just a domain name. Those two names are worthless until you do something to add value to them. What do they mean to you? How can you make them mean something to me akin to what they mean to you?

As an entrepreneur and business owner, why would I want to go and visit a site called The Internet Marketing Kid or Gift? IMKid sounds like something I would send an elementary school child to so that s/he could learn about getting online.

Convince me of your vision when you bought the names. Don't let me ruin your excitement; I'm asking you legitimate questions and I'd like to see your answers.

      @JaRyCu

Thanks for your feedback. I get where you're coming from. These domains could be used for a number of things really. I know they are worthless until value is built into them.

I have several potential ideas for them, but wanted to post to see if others in this forum has some great ideas for these. I'm really looking for additional ideas really - not to just post to say these domain are worth a million dollars - not the point.

Have you heard of the short sales kid - Nathan Jurewicz? He's making good money as the short sales kid. Perhaps can build a site or series of sites like his to monetize. Have you heard of Internet Business Mastery or freeaudiogift dot com? Same idea here... they have used their names to build powerful podcasts and blogs using these kind of names.

Anyway, try to search for available domains with the words internet marketing in them (that are not completely crazy - like internet marketing bench, dog, blah blah, etc) - any relevant and good ones don't exist.

So all in all, thanks for your answer. Perhaps you would gain a glimmer of interest as a business owner and entrepreneur if you heard that the internet marketing kid is making millions. Maybe you wouldn't care... but i guarantee people get interested in uncommon/unique headlines... example: Damn - how is this guy (kid) making money like this? I should be able to do this... what does he know that I dont!

hope to get more feedback - all is welcome! Criticize or praise is encouraged!

Outside of Pat Flynn & Spencer Haws, I don't follow many people in IM, so I'm not familiar with those people. I tend to look more at business pros and not just IM'ers in general.

Here are the ones I found that are available right now:

        Code:
        Internet-Marketing-Mentor.com
        Internet-Marketing-Empire.com
        InternetMarketing101.biz
        InternetMarketingGold.com
        InternetMarketingProfessional.com
        IMGoldMine.com
        IMSuperstar.com
        IMGuru.com
        InternetMarketingIsLa.me (hehe...I like this one)
        GreatInternetMarketingIdeas.com
That was 2 minutes with GoDaddy rolling off names from the top of my head. I didn't buy any of them, but I may go back for the "lame" one later.

I kind of see what you're saying, but I'm in a different age bracket than you are. Now, when I see a "kid," it means something totally different to me than it sounds like it does to you.

Nevertheless I like your answer. It shows me you've put some thought into this, and that makes me think you have a chance to be successful with it. Develop a plan first and then stick to it, and only stop to make slight corrections.

Well, whatever dc 53123 decides to do with his domains, I wish that person the best. I think he could find some way to build up these sites in a profitable way. It will take some amount of time and effort, though. I say don't give up. Try to keep finding the help you need from people who really want to reach out to you.

I know you are asking how to monetize theses domain names, not for our opinion, but I have to agree with JaRyCu - I don't see anything special about these names that makes them any easier to monetize than any similar name. Neither "kid" nor "gift" convey any sense of expertise, so it is hard to see how either applies to internet marketing.

Just a lesson for the future: Always plan what you are going to do with the domain before buying it. I usually have little projects in mind and pick up domain names at 99c from GoDaddy when they have specials (happens pretty often)
