Selling forums

INTERNET MARKETING

I recently had an idea that mostly involved selling forums. Basically, creating a forum with MyBB, getting members, posts and even revenue, then selling it off to interested people. I could do it in different niches.

But how would I sell the forum? Would I just sell the database?

If it's making revenue and what not, why not taking the site over to flippa. People buy pretty much anything that already makes some money.

My recommendation is to sell at flippa. Also, if you are expert of phpbb, please contact with me, I need to design a forum.

Good idea but baring in mind forums aren't exactly a new and innovative idea. Maybe buy some already established forums and build them up even more?
