Facebook ads question

Hi, so I started my first paid ad campaign on FB today looking for traffic to a fan page Not sure about these stats. Only ran two ads today, one didn't do anything so I took it down. The other one looks like this:

Campaign Reach?
6,059
Frequency?
2.7
Social Reach?
1
Actions?
22
Clicks?
21
CTR?
0.127%
Spent?
$16.68

seems like too much money for not enough likes? So, does my ad suck, the targeting or both? What is a decent CTR? I like that I bid at 1.25 and its giving me clicks at .79. Thanks for any advice

How active are the people who liked you on facebook? Do they interact on your wall with you on a daily basis? I think you should pour your advertising funds into Adwords or Microsoft Adcenter, and not use facebook ads.

Maybe you should wait a few days and see if anything better happens. My best ad was just a pic of my cat with a red border around it. I targeted women in their 30's who liked cats and kittens.

Got a steady response but nothing fantastic.

I did it at cost per impressions and dug right down to my target prospects even to women just ages 35 living in one state.

Found that demographics research made a massive difference.

        hope this helps
