How not to send an email to people on your list

I received and email from Fivesquids.co.uk, an English version of Fiverr and not worth the bother as far as i'm concerned :p. I actually forgot I had signed up to them but I digress...

They sent an email just yesterday asking for feedback to help them improve and I couldn't believe what I saw. They cc'd all members!

The email list was loooong! What happened to Aweber or Constant Contact or even Mailchimp?!

I emailed them back to tell them it screamed amateur and that I wasn't happy that shared my email address with hundreds upon hundreds of other people.

Went to delete my account and I can't even do that so now I have to ask them to do it for me? What a joke.

  • I have never had any success with any fiverr alternatives to be honest. This is a joke to cc everyone in the email.. Very amatuerish set up indeed.
  • She did actually email back to apologise and admitted it was a huge mistake on their part but surely that's just common sense...
