How to beat business competitors?

Hello WarriorForums,

This is my first thread here and it's a question that is driving me crazy.

How do you beat a business competitor when you are offering BETTER service, and the users that are using the other business are "Brainwashed" into believing that the other business is the best and the rest is just bad.

I must admit, I know that I didn't try too hard but this is a barrier of some sort that is really preventing me.

Don't get me wrong I'm making good money (thousand/month) but without that barrier I can make MUCH more than that.

Any tips?

    There's some great resources on this forum on copywriting - check out the wso section, especially how people advertise them, but also the ones on great copywriting skills.

      What exactly do you mean with copywriting, do you mean that I should copywrite my features or something?

    Maybe offer your services for free in exchange for a few testimonials ?

    You can then put these in your copy when advertising.

    Copywriting refers to the copy, or words, that you write in order to advertise your services.

    It's a small network, not a CPA network so I only got some competitors but only 1 that I'm worrying about.

    We pay higher and we do updates more often and I'm about to release some new features that they don't have to include to my already "special" features.

    Since you own a network you're going to want to contact blog owners to promote it. Do you have a referral scheme? Anything that entices them into promoting you. If not, you could do paid guest blogging.

      Yeah I already have a referral system, how much would it cost to get blog owners to promote it do you think?

    Maybe YOU know that your product/service is better, but this doesn't mean that the market knows that, to consider your product/service better they have to make the desicion, but first they must know EXACTLY what you're offering, I'd say, give a free sample, provide a free trial, make a video explaining your features and why you're better, the thing is you MUST transmit that to your market....

      I used to be in the financial services business and had a similar situation. Consumers were brainwashed into believing that the product they owned was the best.

      My job was to show them a far better alternative. It's a tricky situation because you need to be subtle about it, but it can be done.

      I'd like to help, but I am still not clear on what exactly you offer.

      Q: What exactly is your product or service?

      Q: What are 3 MAIN advantages that you offer that your competitor does not?

    Finding the holes in your competition is just the way to beat 'em. Playing off that whole you have been "Brainwashed" Just may be the edge you need to stand out.
