I Have heard a lot of talk about
creating multiple accounts in
Twitter. There seems to be a lot
of different points of view. Do you
see value in it . If so Why , If not Why not.

Absolutely! I have at least half a dozen for different brands and niches. You can use brightkit or splitweet to manage them.

Trust me. Way to much work. Had a couple. Just recently when down to one. Life is so much better now.

Same here, have a couple. One key to time crunch is to automate when you can, such as feeding with RSS. I have one account I never post by hand, driven by RSS.

  The same could be said for only having one website as well, but you could make more money with more than one website
  
  You could have only one mailing list, to work on quality, but you'd probably make more with multiple lists.

  I use Twitter accounts like pen names...I use my personal one for hanging out and personal branding, but I use the rest for niche marketing.

I would say have one for personal and another for business. I currently have 2 accounts, that are linked. You will find that a lot of people have similar interests as yourself. So as long as you are building relationships and not just there to spam. I would say it is a matter of preference.

If you do spread out, make sure you don't do anything to trigger any flags or appear as spammy, you'll lose your accounts AND your followers!

But yes, branching out makes sense, especially if you are tackling different niches.
