Offering Free Hosting with Flippa Sales and Reseller Hosting Question

Hey Everyone,
I'm getting ready to sell my first ever website on Flippa and want to make sure I am offering everything I possibly can to the buyer to make it a complete success and to get the BIN price.

I have heard that offering 6 months of free hosting is a great incentive to offer for the BIN price incentive.

Though I am a complete beginner when it comes to Reseller Hosting and working with the WebHost Manager.

What are your solutions for offering hosting to buyers?

Have any suggestions about any guides/wso's that will walk me through setting up reseller hosting properly?

And.....

Do you think its even necessary to offer hosting as an incentive as most people probably already have hosting and would prefere the website to be moved to their own account.

Thanks for your advice.

~Michael

Are you planning on supporting it? Even though you sell it, you still need to support the site while it's hosted with you.

It appears as though you're unsure of setting up hosting, so I would recommend "not" offering hosting as you wont be able to support it.

On the other hand, feel free to ask away if you have any questions, I have tons of answers.

Unless you're going to be selling low value sites regularly, I wouldn't bother offering free hosting.

Your best bet would just be offer them a coupon for a host (with your affiliate link) if they don't already have hosting.

I specialize in selling websites over $10,000 in value. No obligation, confidential valuation here.

It sounds like getting into offering hosting on a reseller plan would be a nightmare for me as I dont have necessary tech skills for that.

I like that idea much better.

I usually give them a coupon link to hostgator or bluehost. But if the sites are low traffic, then I do make exceptions.

Unless you plan on being in that business, I wouldn't bother. Personally, I give them the hosting affiliate code and make a few hundred dollars per month on commissions.

    Hi Michael,

I have reseller hosting so I just create a new cpanel account for each site I create. When I sell a website I simply hand over the cpanel account to the buyer and give them 3 months of free hosting. It doesn't cost me any extra because I have to pay monthly for my reseller hosting anyway for the other sites I manage. It is a nice bonus to give to your site buyers as most of the time they are newbies and they really appreciate the free hosting until they have got it figured.

In my opinion reseller hosting is the way to go if you are planning to sell on flippa on a regular basis.
