sometimes I feel like my inbox is my worse competition.

don't know how many emails I got about affiliate sites being penalized this week, kind of discouraging if you ask me. I wish I could just mass unsubscribe, instead of having to create a new email.

    I know what you mean. I found that once I unsubscribed from everyone I got alot more done and my internet marketing business really took off!

    ..Same goes with social meadia and other distractions too!

    I can actually remember when I first got online...and started getting emails.

    I thought it was pretty neat. lol!...as time goes on, let's say it loses it's specialness.

    I agree, a lot of time is wasted....a LOT.

    yea im trying to start a real business, and I have people emailing me saying it don't work online no more, then you open the email, and it's to get you to buy a course or something, I been staying out of the wso section because of this, I had a bad wso addiction last year.

    So im able to just filters through them.

    I have over 19k emails I haven't deleted yet, don't think I can do that in this case.

      If that's the case then report them. That's not allowed.

      As per the Can Spam Act...

      Unsubscribe compliance
      - A visible and operable unsubscribe mechanism is present in all emails.
      - Consumer opt-out requests are honored within 10 days.
      - Opt-out lists also known as Suppression lists are only used for compliance purposes.
      The important word there being 'operable'. If they are simply linking to their homepage then they are in breach of the Can Spam Act.

        I agree with Willr,

        Sometimes you will have people that you can't run after with the Can Spam Act.
        As they keep moving servers and spams your inbox.

    I had this happen to me literally one week ago. This was a Chinese manufacturing company that I was dealing with as a seller on EBay.

    The obviously have NO concern for the can spam act and it's stated regulations.

    In the end, the only thing I could do was add the filter to my account. Im sure if I look in spam/bulk there will be tons of emails from that annoying company.

    they also some how got all my contacts from my email, and started spamming them with my email and everyone thought it was me, I had a tough time going through all the angry people telling them it wasn't me, I even changed my password, and I contacted AOL and they said that you can use anyone's email in the from box. they even spammed my family pretending to be me..
